But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God” - then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Matthew 15.5,6

Some mistakes happen when people see things that God has not shown them in regards to the divine work. Some go to theological seminars because of recommendations from relatives, while others seek good jobs and prestige. Thus, many that do not have the divine call take hold of the Lord’s work, and since they do not demonstrate respect in their hearts to their ministry, they create and teach rules that do not come from His guidance.

Those who are not under His anointing are easily deceived by the evil one. After some time, they start to make “increments” to the divine work. They add something here, create a doctrine there, and invent many practices that are worthless in the spiritual world. Then, since the ministry does not belong to the Lord, the devil takes those who are under his dominion to get together with such “prophets”, contributing to his work to “advance”.

This is a portrayal of the great religions and churches scattered around the world. For this reason, millions of people are deceived, and since they are truly brainwashed, they will never let themselves be persuaded by the Word of the Lord. The most insane and harmful doctrines have been created in this way, which makes absurd things to be accepted as godly.

While He was on Earth, Jesus promptly condemned these things. The Jewish leaders, without the anointing of God, created an interpretation of the commandment of honoring your father and mother. The Lord strongly rejected it, for God’s ordinance was being invalidated. Now, how can the Lord bless if His will is not respected? Truly, a person cannot alter or propose alterations to what the lips of the Most High declare.

The Almighty was clear in telling us to honor those who honor Him (1 Sm 2.30). Thus, if for any reason you do not pay attention to Him that is the greatest stupidity you can commit. Even if you have to lose it all to gain eternal life, all losses are worth it (Mt 10.39; Mk 10.21), because nothing compares to what you will have for all eternity, once you are saved. On the other hand, nothing will compensate the eternal suffering you will have if you reject the divine plan.

If you have not passed through the narrow Door and do not walk through the narrow Path, that is a sign that you are still not saved, and you are in great danger (Mt 7.13). Therefore, if you do not want to spend eternity separated from the Father, renounce your religiosity now and convert to Him. Even if the price to be paid is very high, there is no other way of getting rid of Satan’s captivity. The Lord is ready to receive you and forgive your sins, but you must enter through the Door (Jo 10.9).
