For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient

Romans 15:18

If we examine the teachings of Christ, we will see that He called people He came across with to become fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). In fact, He would call and bless those people by assigning them with the same mission He had received from the Father (John 14:12).
Life here on Earth is finite; for this and for other reasons Jesus did not come to establish a religious organization that would take care of people’s welfare in order for them to live in good financial stand and enjoy good health. On the contrary, He came to show us that we are lost, that we need to be born again and also that we have to be prepared for the imminent doom.
Paul understood that the Christ – this is how the apostle referred to the Lord – operated through him. My brethren, God also wants to save people through you. In the Gospel, there is not a particular group of ministers whose duty is to minister blessings on others and win the souls of the lost and laymen without doing anything else. We are all called to take the Message that brings salvation and other blessings to the ones who are in the darkness.
The Most High used that apostle with words that transformed the lost ones. We need to understand that those same words can be in our mouths as well. By the way, these are the words that set the Gospel apart from any other religion. When we utter them they kindle the hearts of those who hear us; they open their eyes and have the power to lead them to salvation. Actually, those words heal, transform and deliver the lost ones.
When we talk about the Gospel we are not just babbling; what proceeds from our lips is mighty to transform lives and enables us to perform the same wonders that the Lord did while He was here in our midst. Those works make all the difference because they do not leave any doubt as to the truth contained in the Message we preach. Without miracles Christianity looks like those religions that have nothing to offer.
Do not just hope to be used but dare do and tell! Believe in what you feel when you hear the Good News and when you read the Bible. This is what the Lord wants you to do; therefore, start talking to someone about those things you have learned. After all, sharing what we receive allows us to receive even more. Beware of your fecklessness because those who are careless will experience the second death (Revelation 21:8). Be faithful to God who called you to be His witness. Without any doubt, you will grow a lot in your spiritual life when you dare do the divine work.
Whoever you are your purpose must be to lead the lost to the Truth because there is nothing more rewarding than letting yourself be used by the Almighty. Apart from the satisfaction of having been the person responsible for the eternal salvation of your neighbor, you will be rewarded by the Lord with more of His power and grace (Luke 6:38).
In Christ, with love,
R. R. Soares
