16/12/2022 - DAY OF CRY, WAILING AND CRASHING

And there shall be on that day,” says the LORD, “The sound of a mournful cry from the Fish Gate, a wailing from the Second Quarter, and a loud crashing from the hills.  Zephaniah 1.10

The voice of a mournful cry is a prayer made with great inner contrition, at high or low volume of voice, showing the urgency of the person to be answered. It is a cry to avoid imminent and powerful death and destruction. The cry is the soul’s cry for the Creator, which He promises to hear and answer: Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know (Jeremiah 33.3).

Seeing what Cain had done, when he went astray and killed his brother, the Most High questioned: And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground (Genesis 4.10). In his question, the Lord shows that he hears what we don’t even know exists: the voice of blood. This shows that those who have suffered injustice cry out for vengeance from the place of the crime.

How many people betrayed in their trust, who were faithful in all their ways, have their faithfulness pleading to the Almighty for the application of divine justice! What is the reason for man to get involved in things he does not understand, for which, if he does not repent, he will pay the price of disobedience to the Word? So don’t ever give your opinion about someone’s marriage, for example, or cause trouble by trying to get someone to give up on getting married. There will be an cry!

As the Master declared, when they are united, man and woman become one flesh and one spiritual body (Mark 10.7,8). Whoever violates this body, in which only the couple can be, will carry the wailing, the despair, to the end. The same will happen to the one who cheats, breaking the holy vow of fidelity. Those who cheat in business will also hear the loud, continuous cry of pain or sorrow for the loss of the sufferer (1 Thessalonians 4.3-8). For those who do not repent, there will be reckoning.

The Day of the Lord will bring great brokenness to those who have lived without fearing the heavenly Father, allowing the onslaughts of the enemy in their lives. It’s time to get right with those we have hurt or offended (Matthew 5.24-26). Unfortunately, our heart has not even thought of helping such a person. Man, far from faith in God, acts wrongly! Ask the Creator for help to be broken and live!

A great brokenness will follow the days when God will use His Church, in the mission to go around the world preaching the same Gospel preached by Jesus, doing the same works done by Him. During this period, the Holy Spirit will come, and everyone will feel the eternal danger and seek forgiveness from the Lord. Then mankind will be shaken with faith in Christ and seek to serve the Most High with heart, strength and mind. Hallelujah!

The decisive moment is approaching, so try to be in church, paying attention to the biblical preaching and consecrating yourself to God. After this visitation, the world will enter a chaos from which no one will be able to escape. The faithful servants will stand firm until the end (Matthew 24.13)!

In Christ, with love,

Lord, our Master! We need to be close to You, because Your warnings in relation to those who turn away from You are terrible. We need to live according to Your plan of mercy and love, at Your feet at all times!

May Your day catch us on the alert, vigilant, so that we do not fall into temptation! Your people cannot be frustrated at the return of Your Son, our Savior. Without doubting, we will live at Your side in eternity. Come now, Lord Jesus!

The voice of the cry for repentance must be heard everywhere, from the smallest door of Your Kingdom to the largest. Then the foolish will be set free. Warn us, Father, and bring us back if we stray from You. Let holy brokenness come!
