Laziness casts one into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger. Proverbs 19:15

Laziness is an action of the demon, so the word of God won’t be fulfilled on the earth. Those who submit to it have no idea how much they’re losing. Besides becoming very poor, both materially and spiritually, they’re not pleasing the Lord. Jesus said that He and the Father are working until now (John 5:17), and that should be something normal for Christians. We are on a mission, and that’s why we should never give space to laziness.

The will of the enemy is to cause believers to not realize they should redeem time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15,16). I believe one of the greatest problems with several members of the body of Christ is the lack of knowledge of the Word of God. Because of that, they lose revelations of who they are in Christ, the power they have in the Lord and what they could obtain if they had a strong faith. If all people come to know the truth, they will be set free, and that’s what the enemy wants to stop.

The decision to postpone what should be done immediately, or to be prepared to do something better, is an invention from the enemy. When God makes us see something in the Bible, He has already enabled us to take possession of it. Many are close to achieving their blessing, but without a reason, they don’t realize that the idea of “giving it some time” comes from the devil. They claim that an emergency came up, and so they can’t continue on with their calling.

This is the best season to prove your love for the Lord! Unfortunately, today many people are following the road to perdition. Well, those who disrespect the orders of God don’t love Him, and because of that, they’ll never be blessed. Those who walk away from the Father will realize their mistake later on, and when things calm down, with faith, they’ll come back to Him. Flee from the tricks of the king of evil!

Christians who don’t fight to execute the work of the Lord are just like the lazy ones, who always have an excuse to remain idle. Many live at the expense of other family members, giving excuses that they can’t find a job. Why would people deceive themselves if they are the only ones to suffer harm? Afterall, to speak the truth is indispensable and it frees us from being a servant of the evil one. Be vigilant! Never confess you’re not in a condition to obey the heavenly Father.

The time to act in the name of Jesus is now. There has never been a time when so many people have overcome the forces of evil. However, some are busy with other things and are unavailable to dedicate themselves to the Lord, which is our most important task here on Earth. Those who are not available to follow the Lord’s command to preach are serving the evil one, and in eternity they will realize how much they’ve harmed themselves!

People who fool themselves will regret this stupid decision for centuries and centuries. But it will be too late to recover what was thrown away. Laziness acts like an evil spirit that makes people abandon what is their right. We have everything in our Savior, but it is necessary to seek Him with faith and in prayer!
