13/01/2023 - DID NOT EXERCISE JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are His pleasant plant. He looked for justice, but behold, oppression; for righteousness, but behold, a cry for help.  Isaiah 5.7

The error of the first house will not be accepted or redone by the second. We are warned not to fall for the siren’s song (Haggai 2.9; Ephesians 6.11). We cannot accept nor align ourselves with those whose desire is to rebel against the Creator, turning the creatures into “gods”, who will lead those who trust them into the eternal precipice (1 Corinthians 6.9,10). Why reject the Word and practice what He condemns? Those who have godly fear only act within what was planned for them to do.

The vine of the Almighty’s delights stopped doing His will, thus, the reproach and the consequent curses were upon her. With that, it no longer was the Lord’s chosen. The house of Israel was this delightful vineyard, but because they sinned, they lost the anointing and protection of Heaven and started living away from the Most High. Jesus explained why they did this: [...] and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3.19).

The men of Judah were responsible for the rejection of the first vineyard, because they loved everything that they shouldn’t have. If the members of the second house proceed in this way, they will also have to experience their separation from God. The responsibility is personal; each one is part of the vineyard. When we despise the Scriptures and act contrary to what is commanded, certainly the vineyard continues before God, but the branch is cut off and thrown away (John 15.1-6). Be careful!

The inhabitants of Judah were His pleasant plant, and so are we. If we fail to keep the commandments, other people will be raised up to keep them. Every man of God has a responsibility to God’s will, but anyone who fails to fulfill any heavenly command soon finds himself in a difficult situation; he will be exchanged for new plants, which come with the same expectation from Heaven. Don’t let them exchange you!

The Almighty waited for them to exercise the judgment that was executed on the devil, as the Master spoke, saying:  Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out (John 12.31). We need to teach everyone that the head of the evil empire has already been expelled from the Earth, so no one needs to wait to pray the prayer of faith, demanding the departure of the forces of the kingdom of darkness. Those who believe in the Lord can set the oppressed free (Matthew 10.8).

The Lord’s vineyard today should be like the vineyard of Jesus’ time. He rolled up his sleeves and did the judging, giving freedom to the captives. Likewise, the Church needs to rise up and lead the lost to the salvation won by the Savior in His death, but we see oppression within it. Now, he who has the Spirit of God has authority to deliver the afflicted from the devil (Luke 10.19). The empire of darkness was defeated by Jesus (Colossians 2.15).

Since it does not execute judgment, the result is oppression. The Church of Christ is commanded to set the oppressed free, but it does not execute justice from on High. Therefore, many members are under the command of the king of wickedness, the devil. We must do the divine work now!

In Christ, with love,

O God! The house of Israel was the vineyard that became rebellious to Your commandments and, therefore, was left without fence, without protection, and without the name by which You called it. You created the new vineyard, but it too has not done what is due. Help Your Church!

We don't want to disregard Your orders, but we don't act as You wish, so we ask for Your compassion. Remember us and help us to walk in the light of Your face. Then we shall never stumble nor be disqualified!

We cry out for mercy, so that we are not held responsible for people who don't know how to proceed. We desire to be useful in Your harvest! Then, guide us and instruct us. Thank You for entrusting us with Your work. Awaken us to honor and exalt You!
