20/12/2022 - DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SON AND SERVANT

And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. John 8.35

The religious leaders who sought motive against Jesus understood nothing about the Lord and fought Him with all their might. They had the audacity to say that they were not servants of the devil, although they acted with their own peculiar hatred. If they stopped to listen to the Master, they would understand that, if the Son set them free, they would truly be free (John 8.36). Why did they go against in the opposite direction when they could have been freed from every evil and deliver the rest of the oppressed?

Religions have nothing from the Lord, because God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14.33). Religious people do not know how to draw near the Creator and get out of the captivity of the hellish forces. Who has been abusing children all over the world if not those who hold leadership positions in the churches? Why don’t they break free from these demonic bonds?

Jesus told the Jewish leaders that the servant does not stay home forever, but they didn’t realize that this referred to their group, because they considered themselves men of God. Who called them to such a mission? Surely, it was the enemy, who deceives everyone who wavers in faith. They thought that they were serving the Almighty, and this was an untruth. The Son of God was proposing to deliver them from the hands of the king of evils.

The alternative was to leave religiousness and turn to the Savior, whose power sets the captives of the devil free. Jesus’ message was very clear and made everyone feel that they could change their position, leaving religious bondage, which had evil behind it, and going to the Kingdom of God, of love and peace. However, because they did not assimilate Christ’s message, they remained under the reins of the enemy.

Had they acted differently, they would have been received as sons and called friends (John 15.15). This is because, in God’s work, there is no place for enslaved people. God’s servants live without worrying about tomorrow, because He takes care of those who decide to receive the deliverance proclaimed in the Scriptures. Today, the Lord is inviting those who live under the dominion of drugs. These people do not know what they will pursue tomorrow.

The Most High will never drive a child out of His house, even if some allow the enemy to lead them, showing unfaithfulness to the Lord. He will not cease to be faithful, for He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2.13). Hold on to the chance to be saved and become a blessing to mankind. God’s plan for you is far greater than you realize – He is like your Author: great, eternal and wonderful.

Will you exchange the position of a son and daughter of God for one of servant of the enemy? It’s impossible to compare the loss of one who trusts in the evil one with the profit of one who puts his trust in God. Be responsible and make the best decision of your life by accepting the Lord. Let the heavenly Father hear your yes now!
