14/01/2015 - DISHONORING YOURSELF

A righteous man hates lying, but a wicked man is loathsome and comes to shame. Proverbs 13.5

One of the most beautiful things in life is to practice justice. The world expects the children of God to do so, for they are the only ones with such capability. Those who do not fulfill what the Lord established become responsible for everything that the evil one does with people that did not learn how to act in the right manner. The Lord sees every bad thing that, directly or indirectly, we have done for other people.

It is not costly to hate lying. It is everywhere, denying the divine virtue and guiding the lost to fulfill the devil’s will. You can listen it from any mouth – whether the person may be intelligent or not; whether it is an authority or not, well-intentioned or not. The lying word is the master of those who are not yet born of the Kingdom of God. Our mission is to speak the truth with the anointing of the Lord until we hate lying.

Never deny the truth. Thus, you will please the Lord. Besides, flee from every temptation, and the devil will not strike or destroy you. The evil one cannot place his hands in the messengers of Truth, those who practice the divine justice. Therefore, these will never be afflicted by the works of evil. In order to live well, you must be very close to God so that you will hate the lying word with the way that you serve the Lord.

God will not consider the perverse personas innocent, for this person knows what is right, and because of a dirty desire, lets himself be misled by deception by desiring sin. In some cases, there is no difference between him and the worst sinner. Even having been warned, those who do not have the fear of the Lord insist in continuing in transgression, and thus, shame the Kingdom of God. Strive for this never to happen with you.

Why should you dishonor the Lord, who did everything in your favor? Why should you let yourself be contaminated by sin, if your punishment will be eternal? Was it worth it for Reuben, son of Jacob, to have forced Bilhah, the servant of Rachel and one of his father’s concubines, to sleep with him? His pleasure lasted only some minutes, and it was repugnant. However, his punishment was eternal. May the children of God learn to do justice and not become tools in the hands of the enemy.

Sin is more serious than you think. The devil tries to show us that an attitude will not be considered, for God knows all of your needs. The enemy even tells you that you can commit something wrong without fear, for you will not be ashamed or punished. Do not be mad! God is not mocked; everything that a man sows, that he will reap (Gl 6.7). You cannot put your hands in the fire and not get burnt. Dishonor falls over those who let themselves be used by Satan.

At all times, the servants of God must show themselves clean, God-fearing, and free from the dirt of iniquity. Prepare yourself to meet with the just Judge, who will give everyone the just reward of their actions. Those who practice good will receive the crown of justice, but those who practice evil will receive eternal condemnation. Mercy, Lord!

In Christ, with love,

Just Judge, Lord of lords! It is not good to let the enemy insist with us, so come and help us. It is like playing with fire, or dancing near the abyss. In such a position, we will not be rescued by You, and even worse, with a simple push, we may fall in the pit.

We must abhor the lying word. It cannot prosper in our lives nor in the lives of our friends. While we do not pay attention to such a serious orientation such as this, we allow the enemy to deceive us and lead us far away from You and Your love.

Help us to continue to practice justice. Thus, we will not be considered as perverse and like those who shame Your Kingdom. May our attitudes never dishonor us, and may they always be according to Your will. Lord, we want to count on You always. Thank You!
