People who do not know the Word suffer from a terrible \”disease\”: the hardness of heart. Even attending a good church, there are many who cannot believe in order to receive God’s blessings. These people strive to achieve peace, prosperity and healing of diseases and other evils; however, because they do not obtain these blessings they harden their heart. In some cases, and out of sheer stubbornness, they refuse to believe what the Lord speaks.
How nonsensical it is not willing to hear God’s voice! After all, He is our Father and as the Creator of human life, He has a very definite purpose for those He brings to light. If we listen to what the Almighty says, we will surely succeed because the divine plan for His creation is undoubtedly the best. God, who is love (I John 4:8b) and who created us in His image and likeness, would never create anyone to suffer in the hands of the enemy.
Our walk with Christ should be a succession of miracles. If you have not experienced it, something wrong has happened. He who thinks that old sins need not be confessed and that the wrong done to others should not be repaired cannot participate in the miraculous works of God. If there is no hindrance to the action of the Lord\’s Grace that has been poured out on us, we will experience, at all times, that which is called a miracle.
The Bible teaches us that we must believe so that we can see God’s hand working in our favor. Now if we do not put our trust in Him, we will never see His miracles. All we have to do is to look at the biblical examples for our eyes to open and for faith to arise in our heart. Without faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6), but with it, we will be able to put ourselves before the Father and by acting in accordance with what He teaches us, we will receive what is ours in Christ.
The life of he who believes in what God declares stands out from the life of he who just pretends to believe. Unfortunately, the devil has succeeded in causing many people to close themselves to the truth. When Satan achieves his goal, the individual becomes a target of his attacks and, as a result, his faith weakens. If you have thought about giving up your walk with the Lord, shun that thought right away! Be aware of the fact that the enemy will be the only one rejoicing in your suffering.
The daily life of those who are always praising God is different because they truly believe in the Lord and therefore they achieve victory over the attacks of hell. So my brethren, do not let the devil rob you of the happiness that will accompany you on Earth and throughout eternity.
