For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob.

Isaiah 14:1

The biological descendants of Abraham forsook the LORD God, rejecting His Son and for that they paid a high price. Had they not rejected the Son of God, what would have happened to the world? Would there still be life on Earth? The great tragedy of the Jewish nation was to have rejected the Messiah. Undoubtedly, He would have found a solution to all their problems. Today, the same happens to those who reject salvation because everything they need has already been prepared and delivered.

We are the descendants of Abraham by promise and, as such, heirs of all the gifts the Lord gave to that patriarch (Romans 4)! For this reason, we must be more active in faith and we cannot waste the blessings prepared for us. Those who are of Jesus do not have to bear any attack from hell; they have the right to use the name of the Savior against the forces of darkness and the problems that afflict them. Furthermore, with this name, the entrance into the divine presence is opened.

The lack of discernment during the time of God’s visitation led the people of Israel to ignorance and suffering which they have undergone throughout history. However, we understand through this verse contained in the book of Isaiah that Israel will have the veil lifted from its eyes and will turn to Jesus, the Lord will have compassion on the children of Jacob and the future that awaits them will be wondrous.

It is not up to us to know how many generations will pass nor how many trials they will go through but the day will come when they will regret what they did and will realize with joy that their time has come. Then, they will witness the fulfillment of all things the Almighty promised them and will return to their homeland – that according to this revelation is not only that Middle East region, but the world of the divine promises. As a matter of fact, the blessings promised by the Almighty belonged to Israel but because they rejected the Son of God the Gentiles had access to them and realized how beautiful it is to enjoy peace and communion with the Holy Spirit (Romans 9-11).

As soon as they are in their land, the Jews will become great evangelists. That they are a very determined people we cannot deny, so we believe that when their time of visitation returns they will become great preachers of God\’s work in the end of times. But while this does not happen, we should not miss our opportunity.

The Almighty has entrusted to us the ministry of reconciliation, therefore we should not let anything get us out of the most beautiful work, which is to win the lost to the Lord. Great is the work to be done because the Bible states that strangers will cling to the house of Jacob. Surely, God will win the great battle and then mankind will know the truth and divine justice will manifest itself.

In Christ with Love,
