For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved. Psalm 21:7

The secret to living victoriously is to trust what the Lord speaks to our heart through His Word, for He would never tell us to do something that was not His decision. Therefore, we do not even need to pray to see if something is what He actually wants for us. His words express His whole will, and when they are revealed to us they become commandments we must fulfill.

Once we received the divine revelations we began to act as sovereign over what was revealed; but if we fail to do what we are told, we will be as a king without power. Now, what interests us is not only to have the ultimate authority over our lives, but also to be able to rebuke the evil deeds that attack us and demand what has been revealed to be fulfilled! Therefore, we must strive not to fall into the position of a deposed king, who has no more authority.

Those who trust in the Lord are like kings in the full exercise of their government, who, upon seeing another monarch invading his territory, repel such an intrusion immediately. He who is in total command of his forces never loses any part of his realm to the enemy. This is how God wants to see you. By truly relying in the Most High you are strengthened so that you can take possession of what is yours in Christ.

Always trust in what the Lord tells you. In so doing, you will not fear the threats of Hell for it will not matter whether the devil rises up against your life or the life of a family member, a friend or someone who has asked for your help through prayer. By trusting in the Almighty you will be like Abraham, who rose and went in pursuit of his nephew Lot, his family and other people who the four kings took captive when they defeated the king of Sodom and his allies (Genesis 14:12-17).

The mercy of the Lord does not let His servants slip. Although the ordeal is too severe and exhaustive, the Father’s gracious act of choosing us in Christ causes us to be invested with power. Without trust in the Almighty, even the bravest among men budge in the face of a predicament. The devil knows how to tempt us in our weaknesses, but God knows how to strengthen us in the exact same points.

Do not let anyone demote you from your position of authority in the Lord. Keep in mind what He has spoken to you, believe in His Word because it is a decree that you should know by heart. In that way you will come out victorious, even if all the forces of evil attack you. This is the only way to prove that you trust in the Lord indeed!

In Christ with love,
