31/01/2012 - DO NOT LET IT BE WRITTEN

Behold, it is written before Me:  I will not keep silence, but will repay— Even repay into their bosom— Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together,” says the LORD, “ Who have burned incense on the mountains and blasphemed Me on the hills; Therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom.

Isaiah 65:6-7

The notion that God is watching our mistakes all day in order to condemn us is a lie of the devil. As a matter of fact, the Lord does not want any of us to perish but that all should have eternal life (John 3:16). He is not against us! Rather, he wishes our well-being, so He sends his servants to preach the way of salvation to us. The heavenly Father loves us so much that He caused the burden of our sins to be borne on His Son Jesus; He now wants us to believe it and get rid of all snares.

The Almighty cares for us and He does so in order for us not to be condemned. He follows us with his eyes and watches over us with His wisdom, always aiming to show us that if we sin we will never please Him. The Almighty wants us to depart from the evil way and be converted to the Gospel, which is His power acting on behalf of all mankind.

If you have sinned, do not let the devil do away with your life! Before it is too late, open your heart to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness. The evil that the people of God did in Isaiah\’s day was failing to seek the Lord for forgiveness; instead, Israel allowed their sins to be written. My brother, if you continue to harden your heart and fail to seek the Lord’s forgiveness, the day will come when your wrongdoings will be written and then there will be no way out but to wait for your doom. Therefore, make sure you make amends right now because this is the time of your salvation!

As in the biblical times, many today still make the same stupid mistake: they fail to confess their sins to the Lord and receive His forgiveness. Well, sooner or later we will not be here on earth anymore. What, then, will those who abused of God’s patience do when they stand before the Righteous Judge?

When we confess our faults to God, He forgives us and no longer remembers our sins (Hebrews 8:12). So why continue in sin? If it is written in your “record” that you have despised the divine offer, what will become of you throughout eternity? Wouldn’t it be good if, at that moment, you were honest and acknowledged that you are a sinner and asked God to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness? Do not wait another day! Do this right now because tomorrow may be too late.

One of the greatest blessings we can receive is to be a new creation (Galatians 6:15b). He who converts achieves this blessing. Then, old things pass away and all things become new (II Corinthians 5:17). When your heart feels the holy assurance that you need to make amends with the Lord, seize the opportunity and make your decision. If you do, your spirit will be recreated in Christ Jesus for good works. Give your soul the rest it needs. Fight for God\’s grace, and your whole life will be blessed!

In Christ with Love,
