Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. Exodus 23:21

God’s envoy must be respected and receive all our attention.  In those days, the Lord had sent an angel to guide His people to the place that was set apart for him to live.  Now the Holy Spirit, according to Jesus will lead us into all Truth (John 16:13).  Then when He speaks to us through His Word, we must listen to Him, and bow to His voice, for it is the will of God for our lives.

Never complain to the Almighty about how He guides and directs us.  This saddens the Holy Spirit.  If you have not understood Him, pray to God for Him to bless you with discernment and understanding to answer to His voice.  It is not wise to remain without understanding, which is against the Lord’s will, and only comes from our lack of attention to listen to Him.  All that is said in Heaven concerning us will be revealed by the Holy Spirit.

Never pretend you didn’t understand the Word that leaps out at you.  But if you think it´s wise to ask for confirmation you will act accordingly. Remember that our teacher is God Himself who knows all and everything.  He understands our thoughts even before we think them! We must always be true and sincere with and to the Lord, or the communion will be interrupted.  You can lose everything but never the presence of the Almighty.

Although Israel heard the exhortation, many times they provoked the angel of God to wrath and consequently were delivered into the hands of the enemy, who made them pay a high price for their rebellion. We will be treated likewise if we do not give the attention due to Him, for He is the Spirit of Truth.  Divine will is pleasant to us, satisfying when we fulfill it and is the best that could happen to us in every sense. Halleluiah!

Those who rebel against the Holy Spirit are not wise, for they are seeking trouble with He who is meek and humble at heart (Matthew 11:29).  Why provoke the wrath of the Comforter if He will not forgive us?  Be prepared and ready to receive and carry out what you are told; otherwise, know that rebellion is like the sin of sorcery and to argue is like idolatry (1 Samuel 15:23).  Don’t do the same as Saul, not fulfilling your calling and forfeiting the kingdom, your life and salvation!

The Name of the Lord was on the angel placed before Israel.  He had what was necessary to take the people of God to reach Canaan.  With this assistance, the Israelites would not be tormented, but would be victorious in their journey.  The Spirit of God not only has the Name of the Lord in Him, but is also the very same Name that comes from afar, burning in wrath and leaving smoke where it passes.

As son of the Almighty, always listen to the voice of the Comforter, for it comes with authority to do what is announced.  Seek the Father’s will with all your heart.  In the Scriptures there is eternal life and the testimony of the Almighty concerning you; therefore it is wise and fruitful to know all this.

In Christ, with Love,

Oh God!  We must guard ourselves before Your Spirit so as not to provoke Your wrath.  We want to be Your helper, consecrating ourselves and seeking Your purpose continuously.  This way, we will experience Your good and holy will.

We want to be directed and led by Your Comforter.  In this manner, You will be glorified and we will have the best of this life.  Teach us to honor Your Word, be useful in Your mission and a blessing to everyone.

You lead us to know how to conduct ourselves in order to please You.  Furthermore, You give us the opportunity to spread the Gospel.  We have to understand the reason for Your great love for us, in placing us as ministers of the New Testament.  It is so good to serve You!
