As long as my breath is in me, and the breath of God in my nostrils, my lips will not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

Job 27: 3, 4

Patriarch Job served The Lord with loyalty although he was touched by Satan himself. That servant of God recognized his error and because of that he was delivered from all the misfortune that occurred to him and he received a double reward compared with his loss. Yet, the main lesson we get from his suffering is his determination not to deny his faith in God by not giving room to the enemy to carry on oppressing him.

The resilient Job made the wise decision which prompted him to carry on firm in the battle overcome by him after a lot of struggle. The decisions we make in our heart and those we say out and loud either get us caught up in the evil entanglements or get us delivered from them. Face each battle by confessing and by believing in what The Lord affirms about your stand in His Word. You will be a winner as you do so.

Our soul’s breath is faith! It was granted to us by God and as we put it into practice we can do His will and resist the treachery of the devil whose main goal is to drive us away from the presence of The Most High. Our faith gets us united with The Lord and, with it, we become strong and fully capacitated people to wrestle against the enemy and defeat him. Although the latter seems to be unbeatable you must not be afraid of him because faith will make you take attitudes with superiority before the powers that assault you.

The breath of God will come out of you only the moment determined by God; therefore, do not be afraid of death considering that in the lives of those who serve our Father death is absolutely ineffectual. Those who belong to The Lord have already overcome all hellish power and death itself. Our passage from this life into the next will be glorious.

Make the wise decision not to allow your lips to speak anything wicked. Those who displease God please the devil. Now, we must always displease the enemy of our happiness. God rejoices with our determination to live by faith, as we take attitudes based upon His Word and as we take possession of the blessings bought by Him for those who believe in Him.

A negative confession you make which signals your recognition of your not being qualified to face and overcome temptations is one of the worst attitudes you may ever take. Even though you may have fallen in the worst sin you must not grant the devil the right to break you down for good. On the contrary, get close to The Lord in prayer and confess your error and keep standing firm upon those things The Word of God reveals to your heart; and by doing so your communion with Him will be restored.

Do not let your tongue utter deceit, if you do so deceit indeed is what is going to dominate your whole life. Those who speak words that please the devil are going away from God. We have to get united with The Lord and never give room to the enemy to satisfactorily hear his words on our lips. Always confess what The Word of God says concerning your stand in Christ; be strong and go for your rights and, this way, you will become a winner over all things.

In Christ, with love,
