Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, you people in whose heart is My law: Do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their insults.

Isaiah 51:7

The first thing a new believer should do is strive to know the justice of the Lord. Without it, he will not have strength to destroy the works of the enemy in his life. However, the best time to get rid of an evil is when it starts. Knowing that the devil has already been tried, beaten, and is doomed to failure, you will not confront him fearfully, but with proper authority.

Engrave the Lord\’s law in your heart, which is conveyed through the reading of the Bible and the preaching of the Word. We know that what you understand from the Scriptures is the revelation of the Most High, and as soon as the divine will is clarified, you should keep it in your heart. He who fills his inner self with the Truth leaves no room for the seeds of the enemy to be sown, and hence Satan cannot influence or guide your life.

By knowing the righteousness of God and having His Law in your heart, you are invited to give ear to what the Lord speaks. The Father would never declare something that was not of paramount importance. He knows everything that happens to you, so when the enemy is planning something against your life, God is aware of it. So listen to the Most High and be free from sorrows.

The dishonor of men is great. For many, for example, the adulterer is someone who knows how to enjoy life, but it is exactly the opposite. In the Day of Judgment he will feel shame and embarrassment. Some indulge in homosexuality and prostitution, believing that they can do whatever they want with their body, but that is not what the Scriptures teach (Galatians 5:19-21). Those who dishonor themselves will pay dearly for that. So do not be afraid of the threats of men, for the Lord will reward you.

Another wise and advantageous thing to do is not to worry about the insults of the lost. When they speak evil of you they are being used by the devil to carry out his dirty plans. However, the truth is that for those who truly are of God, no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54.17). Bear in mind that you have the capacity to nullify every threat made against your life.

The wicked are lost in the claws of the deceiver and when they try to do justice they fail because their hands are tainted by their actions. Only those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb of God can use divine justice and exert their rights. Therefore, God\’s children should not be shy when claiming what belongs to them.

The only way of escape is to convert, being born of the Word and the Holy Spirit, otherwise you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If you are still not saved, do not leave it for later because it may be too late. Now, no matter where you are, seek the divine presence and surrender your body and soul to the Lord, lest you perish in hell.
