“The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and a good report makes the bones healthy.” (Proverbs 15: 30)
It feels so good to be enlightened by the Spirit of God. In fact, the Good News lifts us up and IT strengthens us for battles – that’s tremendous! After all, our spirit always needs to be up and cheerful. However, those who aren’t divinely enlightened have their hearts closed and so they won’t receive the best of the Lord for their lives.
There’s nothing more blessing than the understanding The Holy Spirit grants us on the grounds of the Scriptures because all of our being is rewarded by the revelation of our Lord. In fact, when we understand the divine will for us, our eyes are enlightened and our spirit strengthened – so we can see the granted opportunities – and we’re empowered to fulfil the plan of the Most High which consequently leads us to victory.
On the other hand, those who don’t fully understand the Scriptures won’t succeed in life even though they try hard. They’re always bad-humoured and they mistrust everybody and everything; on top of that, their hearts are always shut and their days are constantly dull. Even though the resources are there at their disposal, they can’t enjoy the gifts they were given.
Nobody’s better than our Creator to know exactly what our human spirit needs. In fact, if our true person doesn’t rejoice in God we’ll never be truly happy. Sad and defeated are those who are shut in themselves, locked up in themselves and banning the joy of the Lord to invade their hearts; they never discover the path towards happiness. Those who despise what the Spirit of God’s giving them will find out how foolish they were whenever they need it.
On the other hand, those who pay heed to the preaching of the Good News lift up to life and they become strong in order to cope with trials and come out victorious. So, we ought to never forsake our Lord or fail to give Him the first place in our lives. We’ve got to experience that true joy which is more than a holy joy; it’s the very strength of God in our living!
My brother, pay attention to what you’re doing to the biblical revelation you’re being granted. The revealed understanding has got enough power to strengthen all your body, soul and spirit; yet, if rejected, the lack of that understanding will make you weak. It’s good to make the wise decision to be an active listener of the divine commandments to take the position assigned to you. When you feel joy in your heart you know that Jesus is looking at you.
Those who’ve got their emotional structures shaken will fall for the devil’s traps whenever tempted by him. First, Satan comes up to you pretending to be your friend; then, he leads you into the pit unexpectedly. Yet, those who take a stand in the Most High; those who are determined to go ahead to take possession of their ownership will not only succeed all along their way: they’ll store up enough strength to defeat the enemy at all his assaults.
