“Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.” (Psalm 34:3)
Our greatest mission in life is to give the Lord due praises. He’s powerful, good and assists everybody. It’s the children of God’s duty to experience His love and let other people know who exactly He is and what He can do to all those who suffer. Nobody else can deliver us from evil forces. People are lost without Jesus and they become vulnerable to evil spirits, whose mission is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).
The psalmist invites anyone who wants to exalt the Lord along with him. How good it would be if all servants of the Most High did exactly what Jesus told them to do, thus our Father would surely be exalted. Those who know how to live by faith must share such knowledge with everybody else. Preaching the Gospel is what really matters, as opposed to working for our denomination or for ourselves.
The fruit of our work for the Gospel must be to exalt the Name of the Lord. To achieve that end, we must learn what using it is about, as well as how and when to use IT with the certainty that it is what our Father expects us to do. We don’t need scientific theories or miracle workers for our churches to grow. We need to do the Work of God faithfully in order for the Name of the Lord to be admired and praised.
Don’t do anything in secret and don’t be selfish, but rather work alongside the saved ones because that’s what pleases the Most High. He wants His children to live together in unity – though that doesn’t mean we must show up at all hours at their home (Proverbs 25:17), and pastors aren’t expected to constantly change churches either. We need to pray for each other and we must never cause anyone to have doubts in their hearts or spread fake rumours regarding any ministry.
Competition mustn’t exist in the work of God (I Corinthians 3:4). We must show solidarity to each other. If someone has received counselling from God and has been successful in his or her enterprise, the others must pray for them and help them out with some resource, if need be, or even by giving a public testimony.
Those who belong to God and who are fully committed with the Work of the Lord must never cooperate with our enemy because that hinders the movement from Above. If the Heavens pour Its blessings out on a church, the others must praise the Most High for that. If one day there is no more souls in need of hearing about Jesus, then I’ll dedicate my life to doing something else. Do get involved with the field of our Master, but remember that it’s not good to make it your own private work or resort.
In Christ, with love,
R. R. Soares
