The Lord is not to be trifled with! Although He is the Almighty, He is at our disposal twenty-four hours a day to protect us and meet our needs (Psalm 18.2,3; Luke 11.9). To fail to seek the Only One who is able to help is the greatest folly. When the enemy attacks your life, to whom will you turn? The Bible says: Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near (Isaiah 55:6). Do this!
Everything that God says must be taken into consideration. He is love and has a solution for every case. The fact that He is Omniscient is good for everyone to go looking for Him. The Lord knows everything and can do all things on behalf of those who seek Him by faith, which comes after they hear the Word. Here is another fact to take into consideration: the Father has foreknowledge – He knows what has happened to us and the cause of the onslaught of evil (Hebrews 4.13).
When God issues a decree, there is no way to revoke it. Besides, He is slow to anger, He is always willing to forgive, and He brings us back from the path we have gone down (Joel 2.13). Even those who resist the invitation of the Most High, when they need His attention and forgiveness, should go with confidence, because the Lord will never turn His back on them (John 6.37). Never consider that your opportunity has already passed. While there is life, there is hope to be heard by Him. Seek Him right now!
God grabs your attention with the strong statement made after He has identified Himself. Be assured that the Father’s love is greater than the sorrow that flooded His heart when you let yourself be led astray by the devil’s evil counsel. Who can consciously say that they will never repent of their mistakes? The end of the verse serves as your decree, for you have made yourself accursed by setting yourself against the Lord’s invitation to go and reason with Him (Isaiah 1.18). Surrender yourself to the One who really loves you!
It is harsh what the Lord said, but it is the absolute truth: Cursed is the man (human being – man or woman) who does not listen to the words of this Covenant. There is nothing hard in what God gives for you to do. Renounce sin and start walking with Him. Then your life will be a blessing and not a curse. He who seeks the Lord finds good and will have the best of Him, freeing himself from the forces of darkness. Get right with the Father!
The Most High was specific, saying that cursed would be anyone who would not listen to the words of this Covenant (see that He used the demonstrative pronoun). Unfortunately, many people misunderstand what God has said, and make their own interpretations, far from the Truth, for people to follow. The Father has nothing to do with religious rules, but with His Word. Therefore, never distance yourself from the Scriptures, because they are what counts.
Failing to listen to divine determinations is like mocking the Bible, and this causes the one who disregards God’s rules to be considered accursed. Why should we submit to the worst demons, when we have to obey in love to the Lord? He is our Creator, Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12.2). Live within the boundaries of the Word, and you will be blessed.
In Christ, with love,

Lord of the Covenant! It is a joy to be part of the covenant made in the blood of Jesus. The pleasure that fills our soul has no end. Each day we learn more of Your Law, and with that, our hearts are filled with satisfaction. This shows that You will never leave us!
The misguided let the devil's lie fill their hearts with fear, which will only harm them. Your servants, on the other hand, are fearless, true warriors, who never lose a battle. Father, we praise Your Name with joy!
Your covenant is based on the eternal Truth, so we will never be defeated. Your power is greater than hell, even though hell considers itself invincible. You alone are Lord and Almighty, and that is enough for us. Amen!
