And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field - says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 3.11

The devil is like a false friend: he likes to give self-interested advice to take us away from God’s plan. With his cunning, he “opens” our eyes so that we stop giving the tithe, which belongs to the house of the Lord. The evil one’s intention is to prevent the maintenance of evangelization programs through the media and social media. Even personal evangelism would be jeopardized by this, since the church would not even be able to send out workers. Without provision, the work will come to a standstill.

As Jesus said, Satan lies all the time (John 8:44). Christians should never consider evil speech, because it comes from the bottom of the abyss in order to harm those who give in to darkness. In fact, some pastors preach against tithing. However, when they defend this view, people who live in the presence of the Lord realize who is behind this thinking.

When tithing is taught, some are scandalized and say that they will never give the tenth part of their earnings to the church. The devil has filled these brethren’s hearts with all kinds of deceit. He does this because he knows the truth of the doctrine of tithes and offerings and he knows that God’s return will always exceed our contribution. In addition, there is the Lord’s promise to rebuke the devourer, which the adversary avoids in every way.

This is the real reason why the prince of darkness does not want people to be faithful in fulfilling this ordinance. The evil one recognizes that God will be faithful to His promise. Having been an angel of the Lord, Satan knows how terrible the Most High is in His actions. Therefore, reject demonic proposals, as well as the suggestions of the dishonest, who even cry when they present their ideas, but then turn their backs on those who have believed and voted for them. Don’t be seduced by the master deceiver.

We can’t imagine what the rebuke of the High One is and why the evil one wants to avoid it at all costs. God helps those who believe in the Bible. As for the claim that tithing comes from the Old Testament, read Jesus’ statement: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law, justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone (Matthew 23.23). See also Hebrews 7:5!

Those who fail to contribute are unaware of how much the devil steals from the fruit that the earth would give to the giver – the understanding of what belongs to him in Christ. The adversary is a friend to those who don’t tithe, because he has been taking from them all their lives. The issue is: do we believe the Scriptures or not? Add to this the testimony of countless Christians everywhere about the statute of tithing. Be faithful unto death, and He will honor you!

The vine is planted in the mission field, where the waters are always flowing, so it will never be barren (Psalm 1.3). Don’t exchange the ground that God uses in His wisdom for a soil that has never seen the “waters” of Heaven. We live in the Lord’s appointed time and we will prosper according to our faithfulness. He is faithful!
