In Canaan’s occupation, the Promised Land, the children of Israel could not allow anything from the enemy to penetrate their hearts, such as fear, so common in many who do not measure the consequence of this mistake of grave spiritual significance. The Bible states that we have not been given this spirit: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) Be vigilant!
There are many sins committed in the heart, especially the act of fearing the strength of the enemy, failing to trust the Almighty. We are in training, so problems must be overcome; otherwise, they will become our masters. Then, we will have nothing more of the Lord in us. Doubt is one of the worst temptations that God’s people suffer, for with it comes all kinds of evil work upon the saved.
Saying within yourself that you can’t or that you are afraid, is like accepting on the devil’s package. Then, from one moment to the next, you will be afflicted by every kind of evil from the kingdom of darkness, which is common in unbelievers. Whoever desires to be victorious must live in a biblical way. Why leave the Source of Power and submit to the accuser? Consider your position in Christ and become a winner.
As long as you do not speak the word of unbelief, fear will take no place in your life. But when you agree with it, you will submit to its wiles. Therefore, never give the devil freedom to act in you, but give it to the Lord (Proverbs 18.21). Now, as you believe in your heart and confess this, the power of God will operate in your being. The evil one wants to hear from your mouth that there is no hope and you will do nothing more.
David knew the ability that the bad things had to work on him, when he declared that he did not understand why God did not bless him. He said: I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). Besides not saying anything negative or confessing fear, fill your heart with joy and faith, declaring yourself more than conqueror in Christ (Romans 8.37). The Lord commands let the weak say, I’m strong (Joel 3.10).
The Israelites would be stuck in negative confession, so God did not let them say what the tempter wished to hear from them. Even if you feel that nothing more can be done, declare the Word. If you are negatively influenced, you will be defiled. We can do everything in our heavenly Father, who teaches us how to defeat the evil. Be a victor!
Never say, “I will not be able to fight against the kingdom of darkness.” Although the adversary seems stronger, this is false. The enemy will never be what he says, because he is a liar and has already been defeated by Jesus. So, every time he battles against a saved one, the evil one will insist that he will do this or that. But don’t believe him, because he always deceives.
In Christ, with love,

God, Knower of the heart’s secrets! We will not be afraid of the devil nor pay attention to him, for he lies all the time. Only You know what is going on inside of us. You probe us, since You are the Omniscient God!
The threats of evil will never be fulfilled in our lives, because Your Word is our rule of faith and practice, which teaches us never to give room to the devil. To You - we give glory and praise. You have bought us with the precious blood of Your Son!
It doesn't matter if the enemy's ranks seem more numerous. When seeing the strength used by him to destroy or oppress us, You make sure that we are protected by a greater number, as Elisha said. Thank You, Father!
