Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. 1 Samuel 12:23

Anybody, even a consecrated servant, who allows sadness to enter their heart can sin against the Almighty. Even if an offender has caused us great damage, harm or loss, we must not take any of it into account, for we belong to God.  Besides, if this person should seek us out, we must do her good, because so doing, we will be fulfilling the law and commandments.  There is no excuse for not practicing doing good (Romans 12:21), seeing that, if we do harm, we will suffer consequences.

Live prepared in the Word, so that no root of bitterness may sprout in your spirit, and with sadness, you see various different harmful weeds spring up in your heart (Hebrews 12:15). If you have entertained evil or wrong ideas, or keep trying to get rich quick, pray to God, for undoubtedly, death traps are suffocating you.  If you do not free yourself, certainly you will be stuck in the hands of Satan and your destiny will be painful.

Decide with the Lord, in prayer, that you will never allow yourself to be used to harm or hurt anybody.  Love even the person who threatened to take your life or caused you lasting wounds or irreparable damages.  Any wrong sentiment that settles in your heart will be a sin.  If this should happen, be prepared, because harmful situations will happen to you. Your entire being should be delivered free from evil works.

Those who are driven to participate in the fulfilling the divine will must live at the feed of the Lord, to forgive those who offend them, slander their name or cause them any type of hurt.  Do not sin against God, for He is holy and is not responsible for what was done against you by others.  In truth, if you served Him as you should, you would have been spared tremendous pain and anguish.  One day, in Heaven, the Almighty will show you the cause of your suffering.

Walk with God, for this way, the devil will never reach you.  Satan can only touch a Christian when he is far from the Lord, even though he may preach the Word.  The world’s offers and temptations fascinate many people, but must never be accepted by anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  When someone lies to you, know that he has always done this.  If you do not scold or reproach this person, worse things will come from this life that does not fear the Lord.

Pray for everyone, especially for those who show no liking for you.  It may be that these people were exposed to bad words concerning you, even though untrue.  This makes them consider you as someone who does not love God and harms others.  You have only to gain for interceding in favor of the wicked, even more so for those who wanted to harm you. To enter the Kingdom of God we must love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44).

Live by walking the straight and narrow path.  Your walk should be an example to those who observe you.  Then, when you have an opportunity, don’t feign to know it all, but act as a servant of God.  That your words may show others what is the best direction. God is with you!

In Christ, with Love,

Oh God!  We want to walk with You, doing Your will.  Even if nobody loves us, or if they harm us in any way, causing damages and losses physically or morally, we have to love this life, because the devil has found in this life a way to attack us.

Samuel did not want the Israelite to destroy themselves for having requested to be ruled by a king, but he did reproach them.  He knew that this was against Your will, and for some time You had decided that they would be different.  But many want to be like the lost.

That Your presence may fill us so that we do not stumble on the stones along our path.  What is important is to know that we can love people, give them the best testimony with our faith in You and lead many of them to the Light.
