Yet the LORD has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.

Deuteronomy 29:4

What we have received from God is not all we could get. To the Israelites – who were greatly blessed with many revelations, those who saw the blessed hand of the Lord performing wonderful deliverances – the capacity of understanding, seeing and hearing has not been granted till today according to Moses’ words. The Church of Christ takes a stand much higher than that of the church of the Old Testament for IT owns The Holy Spirit of God who came to teach us everything that is written and to share with us what might have been spoken in heavens.

Those people who try to equal the servants of The Most High, those who lived before the first coming of Jesus put themselves under the same treatment standards. Those who belong to The Old Covenant did not enjoy the removal of sins, and they did not fully understand The Scriptures and, for that reason, their living standards were far too different from our position now in Christ, our Lord. Speaking about that doesn’t mean using words vainly, but instead it means talking the truth. We are significantly happier than our brothers of The Old Covenant considering that The New Covenant was established upon better promises (Hebrews 8:6).

What must be pointed out here is the fact that God did not give them a heart to grab that, but He did make that gift available to us. Therefore, there’s nothing at all we are likely to need to live the fullness of His will that has not been granted to us yet. Today, if a brother in Christ doesn’t get what the Word declares, he needs to pray and ask for assistance from The Lord because there’s probably an evil power behind preventing him from understanding. No Christian must give in to the idea of being an exception because that doesn’t exist at all.

God did not give eyes to the Israelites for them to see the grandeur of His work. Jesus Himself addressed that issue, but from the moment He began spreading out The Gospel the eyes of those who witnessed the divine operation were opened. Do not accept being kept unaware of what the Lord has been doing amongst humankind. Great things He has prepared to hand out to all those who do His will. Those who find it hard to see what The Almighty wants to do for and through them need, by all means, deliverance.

Those who cannot manage to listen to the soft divine voice cannot get the necessary faith to do the work of The Father. The basic means of acquiring faith is by hearing (Romans 10:17). How then can anyone receive it if they are unable to make understand it? In my years of ministry I have seen many people being oppressed by a spectre of spiritual deafness which operates just like the other demons as they cause hearing impairment. Just as we expel the latter we must expel those that block our understanding as well. 

Today, in the days of The New Testament, no barrier is to be found in the lives of those who belong to God, therefore you should not let the enemy prevent you from being a blessing at all. You must fully understand what the Most High has for you so you’ll be able to see Him working in your life and you’ll also be able to listen to His spoken words for you; for that’s the way which will allow you to become successful.
