06/03/2011 - Everything is under the Lord’s command

“For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.” (Psalm 47: 2)

Among all the things we need to know, two of them of utmost importance can be found in the verse above: God’s the Most High Lord and a great King over all the Earth. He’s not only Lord; He’s also the Most High. Those who trust in His Word know how worthy the revelation that comes from Him is; if they’re going through any crises all they’ve got to do is look to what IT unveils. This way they know their hearts will be strengthened and the trust they’ve got in the Almighty God will increase dramatically.

That statement on the Lord isn’t recorded in the Scriptures without a purpose. In fact, it shows that God’s addressing His children who are going through trials, be them insignificant or massive, so that they’ll get to know the divine power over any action of the enemy. The good news is that it’s enough to believe in the Holy Word and to follow its instructions. It’s worth remembering that the Most High doesn’t tell us to do anything hard or extremely tough; all He asks is for us to have a simple faith just like that one of a child (Matthew 18:3, 4). When we do that we’ll always see His power operating in our favour.

That’s what happened to the heroes of faith in the past. They got to perform miracles as they followed the instructions of the Word of God. Joshua was once in a battle, dusk was approaching, and his people’s enemies were meeting up again. Then he prayed to the Lord and felt in his heart what he ought to do (Joshua 10: 12 – 14). He didn’t think twice and said: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon”. What came next from that straightforward order was phenomenal because it took longer for that day to be gone. According to the calculations of NASA, that statement stretched out that day over twenty three hours.

The Lord’s a great King over all the Earth. He reigns both over the material and the spiritual world and His power can’t be measured. Nothing can hamper His work when He decides to do something (Isaiah 43: 13). Knowing everything is under the Lord’s command, we can be confident, we can lift up our heads, and whatever we determine to be in the Name of Jesus will be done. Everything He states will never fail.

Enjoy now once you know your faith’s vibrating to the fact that the Lord is the Most High and King over everything and determine your blessing! Don’t let the enemy tell you any lies anymore to keep you under his command. Whatever his strategies against your life, say that’s enough, to Satan, and command him to get out of the whole of you – body, soul and spirit – and of your family and assets.

The Lord hopes that you do your duty so He’ll be able to do His. Suppose you’ve been in sin or you’ve been adrift from God – and that’s the reason why the enemy’s been assaulting you – then, make amends with the Almighty One; and immediately He’ll confirm the order you give.
