Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength! We will sing and praise Your power. Psalm 21.13

The Lord is Almighty and because of that, He has all the power, which cannot be measured. His capacity is so big, that He created all things out of nothing and He sustains them through His power. We don’t know exactly the age of the Universe, or of the first thing created, both in the spiritual and in natural world; however, the fact is that nothing was lost or will be lost from His sight. 

Before the fall, nothing separated man from the Creator; after all, He had made him in His image and likeness to walk with Him and be like Him on Earth. However, because of a foolish disobedience, Eve was taken by the enemy´s ability to seduce and, after having dared and eaten from the forbidden tree, she found her husband, who also ate the fruit. Thus, the devil entered into this world. 

Thus, we would be away from God forever and destined to eternal torment. However, the coming of Jesus broke down the wall of separation, giving us the condition of having back the strength of the Omnipotent working in our favor, as well as the other blessings conquered by Christ in His death. The most important message of all times is that all people can and must return to God. 

David lived before the Calvary and, whenever he needed assistance from the Lord, he prayed for Him to be exalted in His strength and rescue him. Today, if we are walking with the Heavenly Father, no evil shall come near our dwelling (Psalm 91:10). However, many people let themselves be influenced by the care of this life, they don’t consecrate themselves and don’t cry out to God and, because of that they are always stumbling over obstacles. 

Today, when we pray in the Name of Jesus and command an evil to be undone, the power of God comes into action and does the work. To use this Name is to make Him come to our help. Thus, no enemy can withstand the Christian who decides to demand with the Lord about any matter, making Him fulfill anyone of His promises. 

Now, we can sing and praise the heavenly power, for, with the victories obtained against the forces of evil, the Most High will be exalted in His strength and we will live like He planned. Nobody is a match for those who know and exert their rights in Christ, for, in everything and over all things, He has made us more than conquerors. 

Those who don’t understand their position in Christ are unaware of the fact that there is no evil that can haunt them, therefore they pray just like David prayed. Look, the king of Israel lived before the Calvary; therefore, he had to make such a prayer. We live after the death of Jesus and His subsequent victory over Hell. Now, we only have to act by faith.
