As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. Joshua 14:11

More than 40 years went by after the Lord told Moses that Hebron would be given to Caleb; Caleb was strong and believed that this Word would be fulfilled. When Joshua was dividing the land, Caleb reminded him what God had promised about the land, and assured Joshua that they’d conquer it. Caleb’s faith didn’t allow his strength to fail.

Take hold of what the Lord most high promises in His Word and don’t turn to what the circumstances indicate. This is what Abraham did; God honored his faith and gave him the promised son. Those who give up on the Lord’s promises never please Him. Therefore, when you think about giving up, pray and believe that the Lord is hearing you, because His mercy will help you to stay firm.

Caleb wasn’t deceived by the natural side of things. As an ancient man, who was more than 80 years old, he remembered Joshua of what God had declared about the promised land. Caleb declared that the Anakim, the giants who lived there, would be expelled from their land because the Lord would was going before His people (Js. 14:12). Because of Caleb’s faith, the land rested after the war. This is the kind of sons and daughters that the Lord expects us to be.

Whatever God declares to you is already a reality in the spiritual world. With the power He gives to you, the Word will be fulfilled before the eyes of believers and unbelievers. The Lord will be glorified through your decision and victory. However, if you fear, what will happen to the Lord’s fame who chose you and anointed you?

My strength will remain firm, as it has always been. God knows when you should fulfill what He has ordained for your life. Therefore do not be impatient nor discard the divine purposes for your life, but be certain that He is powerful to do whatever He promises (Hb. 10:23). There are no excuses and there is no turning back with the Lord. The omniscient God never commits any mistakes.

Caleb waited for the time of war for more than 40 years. I wonder how many times he watched the people walking away from the Lord’s paths in the desert, but still he believed that the Word would come true. That’s why he was rewarded according to what had been said to him. You also have everything you need to remain steadfast and put the mission that was given to you into action.

Your faith will keep your strength and your dreams alive. Those who believe in the Lord never give up, even when they face impossible situations, because they know that God is unbeatable.

In Christ, with love,
