The Lord had chosen Haggai for that day and time, and it could not have been any other. Therefore, all things cooperated for him to deliver the message. In the same way, we have been preserved and have come into the Kingdom of God for a noble mission in our days: to preach the Good News throughout the world. Thus, whoever hears it and believes in Jesus will accept Him as Savior!
Haggai gave the message to the civil leaders, headed by Zerubbabel, and to the religious leaders, represented by Joshua, and once they believed, so did the rest of the people. The Bible says: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We have everything going for us, as long as we are under the explicit orders of the Father!
The Spirit of the Lord called Haggai an ambassador of the Lord. What a privilege! What will you be called on the last Day? This is important! There, the absolute truth will be spoken. There can be no deception in the Kingdom of Heaven nor in the Holy Spirit. Paul called us as: Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).
The ambassador speaks according to the instruction received from the highest authority of the country he represents. Such authority advises him on the issues to be dealt with and how to conduct negotiations or agreements about to be signed. Whoever holds this position must study his nation in depth, the direction taken by the government, and if possible, always be in contact with the head of the State, to advise him on various projects. Every wise man will be recognized!
To be an ambassador of the Kingdom of God is to represent the Lord everywhere, to live to see Him grow, giving your contribution wholeheartedly, without expecting any means of recognition. Your work needs to be done as an expression of love for the King of kings and Lord of lords. Such a person needs to avoid expressing what they think or wish that it be done. After all, they serve the One who is perfect. The Most High has already warned that He does not accept human testimony (John 5:34).
Haggai spoke to the people according to the Lord’s message. He did not want to be the main one in that mission, because the Most High declared: I am with you. If we express our opinions, we will ruin lives instead of uplifting them. The Bible talks about this: For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. (John 3.34). He who adds lies!
Let the Lord do your thinking for you, for He is perfect, omniscient and complete in Himself. Human “help” gets in the way. We will never utter anything free from contamination. However, speaking according to the revelation received from the Most High, we will render a service to God that may be of little use, but by His mercy, we will be able to help many people! Hallelujah!
In Christ, with love,

Lord, Confirmer of our word! We want to be like Haggai, who let Your Spirit use him as it pleased You! May this happen to us always! We need to be in the spirit, so that we don't get in the way of Your plans. Help us in everything.
If we are to speak to the people, give us the right words. If we are to pray for the lost and suffering, Your assistance is needed, for we never know how to pray as we should. But, having Your support and Your anointing, we will be a blessing in the lives of those who seek You.
Your ambassador's message was short, but of great value. The Israelites who came out of Babylon still had an inferiority complex. The Babylonians considered them unimportant. In Jerusalem and Judah, however, those who returned from captivity were welcomed as real citizens.
