The false witness can say whatever he wants, vehemently emphasizing his words, but because they are untrue – it will be impossible to sustain them before the listener, who will soon realize the untruthfulness of the statement. Saved people should never despair at the lies uttered by people. They need only trust in the Truth that sets free and give their command. Then everything will quiet down and work as the Father has determined. God and the Word are One!
The devil is the author of the lie (John 8.44). Therefore, whoever makes use of it behaves as a servant of the evil spirits, and will certainly not go unpunished. The worst folly anyone can commit is to accept a favor from the evil one. The price for this will be very high. Never let the devil use you, nor use him, because this marriage will be your destruction. It is best to stay close to Jesus, who is meek and humble of heart (Matthew 11.29). God loves us. Amen!
Ananias lied when he delivered his offering to the house of God. Because of this act, he paid dearly. In fact, when Peter asked him about the value of the sale, he was under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, who wanted to save Ananias from condemnation. However, Sapphira’s husband resisted the Lord and left in a vexatious manner. Why didn’t he confess his evil plan? God would have forgiven him if he had confessed his weakness. However, because he sustained the deception, he died (Acts 5:1-5)!
To lie is to deny Jesus, who is the Truth. Those who do that don’t know how much they are losing. The reason many people are broke is false testimony and refusal to give to Caesar what is his and to the Lord what belongs to Him. Why not be someone of whom it will be said, “This is a man of God”? The Scriptures say that there was a man named John (John 1.6). What kind of reference will be made about you on the last Day? Mercy, Lord!
He who accepts another word, to the detriment of the heavenly command, is also in error – as happened to the prophet sent to shame King Jeroboam. He acted as he was commanded, but turned from his path and was killed by the lion: When he was gone, a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his corpse was thrown on the road, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the corpse (1 Kings 13.24). Be faithful always!
In the Law of Moses, if a man suspected his wife of committing adultery and she denied the fact, the husband would take her to the priest, so that she could taste the bitter water. If the suspicion proved to be true, at that very moment her belly would swell up and her thigh would rot (Numbers 5.12-31). It is evident that God would be at the ceremony to settle the doubt in his heart. Everything must be brought to the Lord, in order for Him to confirm whether we are wrong or not.
In the New Covenant, we are commanded to speak the truth to one another; after all, as members of the Body of Christ, we cannot be instruments of the evil one, but we must be sincere. The Mosaic Law is over, but know that in the Judgment – all will be revealed!

All-seeing God! Why deceive when You teach us to speak the truth? Those who do not realize this, disqualify themselves. Now, we do not want to give the enemy the right to oppress us. Forgive us our faults and deliver us from them.
To knowingly twist Your Word, so that the result is different from the reality, is to err grossly. Therefore, we cannot, even in thought, reverse what we have seen and heard, otherwise we will be found wanting. Mercy!
May untruths never come out of our mouths! Our hearts must never harbor a single demon, because we are temples of Your Spirit. Thank You for taking care of us with love. We refuse any evil thought within us. Amen! Hallelujah!
