For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has crushed my life to the ground; he has made me dwell in darkness, like those who have long been dead.

Psalm 143.3

It is good to learn from the man who was considered by God a man after his own heart (Acts 13.22b). David was a man who, whenever he fell, would not let the enemy drag him to the mire of damnation, but he sought the Lord’s forgiveness and asked God to spare him from his judgment. Our Father has already spared us from his judgment, as he punished his own son Jesus in our place. Now those who believe in him are saved (Mark 16.16).

An important truth is that people who fall into sin continue to belong to God. Their connection with the Lord is cut off, and if they never repent, they will be thrown in the lake of fire together with Satan and his demons. But those who fell into error need love and patience, because they are valuable in the eyes of God. And through his mercy, fellowship can be restored.

Do not let the devil deceive you. Anyone who commits sin can still turn back to the Lord. The devil has led many people to transgression and the saints to condemn such people to eternal damnation. Well, if God could not do anything for them, he would have said so in the Scriptures. We need to reach out to those who have fallen into the devil’s trap and lead them back to a living faith.

Do not allow the evil one to make you believe that you are holier than others. Jesus said that we must not judge other people, because if we judge we will be judged (Matthew 7.2). Only God knows why so many wrong things happen to many people. I have seen many people rising up from sin to become the best warriors of the Lord. Bring the Word of God to anyone who has strayed from the Lord and he will turn back to the Master.

If you have fallen into sin and no longer feel God’s love, you are being fooled by the devil once again. The best thing you can do is turn back the Lord right now. If you wait for the right moment, it may be too late. Take the decision of confessing your sin and receive God’s forgiveness. You have been called to live in righteousness and not in error.

The truth is that God’s ministry is to save lives, not to destroy them. He cares for all those who belong to him. The devil will try to deceive you, but be watchful. Trust in the Lord, repent of your sins and stop feeling defeated. God wants you to be a winner.

In Christ, with love,
