Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.  Romans 8:33

God’s chosen ones are forgiven when they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Many say no to the offer of salvation because they enjoy the pleasures of this world. Unfortunately, they refuse the Lord’s invitation to inherit eternal life. If they don’t reconsider such decision, they will head towards endless torment. It’s hard to understand how so many people are heading to perdition!

Salvation has been prepared since Jesus went to the cross to die for all of humanity. There, He suffered our iniquities and infirmities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him (Isaiah 53:5). There’s nothing left for us to pay so we will receive forgiveness, live free from guilt and other kinds of evil and to enjoy true peace.

Those who feel forgiven by God need to live according to their faith, approaching Him respectfully when necessary, without feeling miserable. If He says You are forgiven, why consider yourself unworthy? There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:1). To say the opposite is to deny the Word!

No one can accuse those who’ve been justified by Christ, because the Lord’s work will never be canceled. When people are saved, they become part of a process that’s being executed by God for a long time: I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, and I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them (Hosea 11:4). He loves us!

Devil means slanderer. That’s what he does to God’s children. We should study the Word of God so we won’t be fooled. Watch what happens when we confess our sins: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Evidently, confession should be done with faith, and later, it is necessary to believe in the Lord!

Justification is a juridical term that means to make one innocent of their actions. Jesus paid the price when He died in our place. When we accept Him as our Savior, we are forgiven and saved. After that, if we fall again, all we have to do is to repent and ask God for forgiveness – we have been redeemed! Forgiveness brings joy back. Be free from your mistakes and live!

Walk in communion with the Lord; that way, you will find peace. But beware! The devil knows that there are Christians who have a weak faith, so he accuses them, saying they will never be forgiven. However, the Father is waiting to make them pure!

In Christ, with love,

Dr. Soares

God who justifies us! It doesn’t matter who is trying to accuse us of acting the wrong way and pushing us away from You. Remember that we are Yours and the enemy wants to take us away from Your presence. Father, forgive us!

We don’t want to be fooled, and that’s why we trust in Your Spirit. He will be our Guide and Teacher, leading us to repent when we treat someone badly or do what we shouldn’t do. Father, deliver us from evil!

We were justified when we accepted Jesus as our Savior. Since then, we live by our faith in Your Word. We ask You would guard and protect us when we are tempted. Amen!
