Unless the Lord of hosts Had left to us a very small remnant, We would have become like Sodom, We would have been made like Gomorrah. Isaiah 1:9

The Israelites had everything to live with God, setting an example to the world of how precious it is to obey divine orders. However, as time went by, despite knowning the Almighty and seen great operations, they yielded to sin. This has happened repeatedly throughout the history of the Church. When people forget who they were and what was done in their favor, people give in to temptations.

Isaiah’s statement was a warning for those servants of God to be on their guard, because sin lies at the door. The saying “Once saved, saved forever” has no biblical support. Only those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13). The battle against sin must be continuous, or you will end up far from the Lord and eternal happiness. Watch and pray not to fall for temptation.

What would the world be like if there were no one like Abraham, who paid attention to the Lord and left his land and his relatives (Genesis 12: 1-4)? The same can be said about Moses, who refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. This man of God´s greatest inheritance was to be among his people. What for many would be a loss, for him it was a blessing. We must act the same way; after all, we are called to be the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13) and, thus, not to let our generation rot without salvation.

God gave us His Son as the Remnant, the One who can keep us from all temptation. Therefore, we do not have to feel discouraged by those who sin, by accepting the offers of the wide door. There will always be people without good judgment or fear of the Lord. The important thing is to stand firm in the revelation of the Word. Understand this: you are not to blame for what has not been revealed to you, only for what has been told you.

There is a legion of unclean spirits at work in society, leading it to moral corruption. Now, when we see so many people losing themselves in the illusions of the world, we are also afflicted. Because of this danger, we must watch and pray, lest we fall into temptation (Matthew 26:41). From hearing so much about falls and practices contrary to the Bible, we may think we are too strict, but that is not true! Mercy!

This legion of demons is act work in the world, using people considered to be good. They fight for humanism, preaching that no one should be judged because of the way they live. Now, such thing corrupts other individuals, with the illusion that everyone can do everything. If moral corruption is healthy and man can do whatever he wants, should those who steal also be allowed to live as they wish? So, I ask: if that happened, what would become of society?

The Lord’s warning is that no one should be led to eternal torment, and the example is what happened to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, which were destroyed by the fire and sulfur that fell from the sky because of the wrong use of their own bodies. The Lord talks about the Judgment, when the rebels will go to eternal fire. Stay alert!

In Christ, with love,

To the Lord of the Remnant! Your Word, Jesus, the Savior, is the Remnant, which prevents humanity from being condemned for the downfall of everyday values. It is sad to see so many talented people being used by evil, which will destroy them!

May our eyes be opened so as not to fall into illicit practices. We do not want to be condemned, as was the case with the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, who tasted the early judgment of their actions. Father, save our generation!

We plead for people whose eyes are blindfolded and approve what You condemn. In fact, many have completely lost their faith and fear for You. Have mercy on those who do not live according to Your grace!
