From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  Psalm 61.2

Thanks to Christ’s death for humankind, we can leave the degrading position which Adam’s sin put us in and go to the Rock that is higher than us—the Lord Jesus. As a result, our suffering has come to an end, because the defeat that God inflicted upon the enemy delivered us forever from his ability to enslave and oppress us. Now man can go back to his position of superiority over all forces of hell.

Perhaps your current position is the lowest level on which man was placed. But when you hear the gospel’s message, do not waste the joy that it will bring into your heart, because this joy will be accompanied by the exaltation of your power. Now you can cry out to the Lord in the name of Jesus, and He will surely come to your rescue. Then you will see that your power has been exalted because you mentioned the name which is above every name (Philippians 2.9). 

Do not allow your heart to be overwhelmed, because Christ paid a high price for your exaltation. When he resurrected, he left the devil and his demons eternally defeated in hell. They will never recover the power they had stolen from Adam. Subjecting yourself to the lies of the enemy, thus allowing him to fool you with his far-fetched stories, has no place in today’s Christian reality.

There is an eternal purpose in the fact that the gospel has reached you. Jesus said it is a process that begins and ends in his Father that made you part of his body. The Master said that no one can come to him unless the Father who sent him draws him (John 6.44). And the best is yet to come: Jesus also said that you belong to him and no one is able to snatch you out of his hands (John 10.29). You are on the way to spend eternity with Jesus.

Now you must climb to the Rock which is higher than you, which is the Word of God, the Lord Jesus, who, because he was obedient until death—and death on the cross—received all authority in heaven and earth. As part of his body, you can use his name to subdue all forces of evil that are trying to destroy your life. Hell knows that this is true, but it will only obey it when you command it to leave your life.

By standing on the Rock and remaining steadfast in your position in Christ, you will see that there is no force of evil that will not obey you. Demons know that, in the name of Jesus, the power that you received has already been exalted. Therefore, without any fear that it will not work, be faithful and courageous in faith.

This is the time for you to demand that diseases, temptations and all works of the devil get out of your life. The devil will no longer be able to afflict you if you cast him out in the name of Jesus. The Lord expects you to honor him now by using his name to get rid of all operation from the kingdom of darkness.
