For I know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods.  Psalm 135.5

In Psalm 135, whose authorship we do not know, it declares that our God is great, and that is enough for us. In fact, the true Author of this text is the Holy Spirit, who used men for the holy records. What matters now is the information that the Lord is great, greater than anyone’s need to be fulfilled in life, to be healed, or to have an abundant life!

If you are facing any need, confess that the Lord is great and that your difficulty has already been overcome in the death of His Son, Jesus. Christ took all evil upon Himself, including sickness, transgressions, and the chastisement that brings us peace (Isaiah 53:4,5). Nothing can prevent man from being fulfilled, all he has to do is seek his Creator. Now, we already have God’s yes to the solution of our problems, for we have been healed by Christ’s wounds! (1 Peter 2.24).

We must refuse the dominion of the forces of darkness and their evils in our lives. One day we will stand before the King of kings, and what will we say? When He sets His eyes on us, what we have not sought to know will come into our mouths and we will confess that we have not sought His will to put an end to temptations. This is serious!

We need to know the One who made us in His image and likeness. Before the judgment seat, God will not show us what we did wrong, but we ourselves will confirm that we knew what was right. This conviction comes into our hearts when we hear the preaching of the Word or read the Bible. However, in secret, because we want to sin, many times we do not accept before the Lord His conviction, and this will be our condemnation (Romans 2.14-16).

God is great to change your life from now on, granting you the good He has planned for those who bow before the Truth. Whoever seeks Him receives relief from temptations and is freed from oppressions. Why wait for the Day of Judgment when forgiveness is offered now? Get rid of evil desires and other misconducts, because the Lord wants to give you life in abundance (John 10.10). Tell the devil that you are now saved!

When you acknowledge the greatness of the Most High, your problem, which seems like a mountain to be overcome, will shrink to a single grain of sand, which will be thrown away with a simple touch. Wake up! When God is one’s Lord, sickness will not remain in you: I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live (Deuteronomy 30.19).

God is above those who think they are gods, masters of their own lives, who defy Him. What will you gain by talking about the One who created you and wants your well being? Those who bow down before Jesus, accepting Him as Savior and Lord, will see everything clearly, but without Him, they will see as in a mirror (1 Corinthians 13.12). What will you do? The decision is yours!
