God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?   Numbers 23.19

One of the most certain things in life is that which the Lord has promised to do. The moment that you feel the word opening to you, look closely and see if it is a promise or declaration of God concerning that which he has done on your behalf. If something has been revealed to you by God himself, believe that it will not fail, even if heavens and earth pass. A man may change what he has said, but the Most High will never fail to fulfill his word.

Regardless of how great or unattainable the revelation may seem to you, if the Lord has made it known to you he will surely fulfill it, even if for that he has to come in person. The message of the verse above is one of the ways God speaks about the confidence we must have concerning the promise he has made to us at the moment he reveals his purpose.

Dare to believe in what you feel when you hear the Word of God being preached or when you read the Bible, and do not accept any excuses; rather, accept only the fulfillment of what has been said. Even if you feel that it is impossible to come true, give glory to God because nothing is impossible to him. As a matter of fact, when the Almighty reveals you something, he has already started to work on it. All you need to do is take possession of what he has said.

Abraham, after hearing from God that he would be a father, even though he and his wife were advanced in age, did not doubt the Lord’s promise; instead, he gave glory to God, totally certain that he who had made the promise had power to fulfill it. Because of his confidence, his wife became a mother. We must act in this same manner in relation to everything that is revealed to us through the Word. Therefore, do not be shy: make God’s work become a reality.

Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, Rebekah, because she was barren, and she conceived. His pleading was based on God’s promise concerning the coming of the Messiah. As a result, Esau and Jacob were born, with the latter being chosen to receive God’s blessing. However, for the promise to be fulfilled, Jacob had to endure several trials, including struggling with the Lord and prevailing.

Those who stay in their comfort zone without pleading with the Lord for what he has said will never see God’s promise be fulfilled and will be penalized for not doing what they should do for God to honor his word. From the moment that we learn about what the Father wants to give us, we are entirely responsible for the fulfillment of such promise. Never accept the idea that it is impossible for the work to be completed; rather, without hesitating, plead with the Lord for your cause.

All revelation that the Lord gives you is like a talent he makes available to you. If you do nothing with it, you will be held accountable on Judgment Day. On the other hand, if you plead with the Lord for having his word fulfilled, you will surely be rewarded. Therefore, do not allow the enemy to deceive you, making you agree that the Lord has exaggerated in his promise. Our heavenly Father knows exactly what he says!

In Christ, with love,

Lord, thank you for teaching us that you will never fail to fulfill your promises, and because of that we can plead with you for your work to be completed. What you have said will never fail to be carried out in our lives.

You would never give us a revelation which makes us dream and praise you and then fail to make it come true. As a result, we ask you, in the name of Jesus, for your plans to be accomplished, because we will not give up on them.

There are no limits for your promises to be fulfilled. Everything that you have planned will be done. Today we demand before you everything that you have said and taught us. Amen!
