I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:6

None of the declarations contained in the Bible was recorded by chance. Everything that is written in the Scriptures is aimed at mankind. Therefore, when you open the Holy Book do it with reverence and with an open heart. When you read God’s Word you are in an executive meeting with the Father, so make sure you give full attention to reading it and you will be greatly surprised.

The way David speaks opens our eyes to the fact that he understood that the Lord had done a lot more for him. Unfortunately, most of God’s people have neither learned nor believed that His Word is spiritually discerned. One of the missions of the Holy Spirit is to tell us everything; after all, man by himself is unable to comprehend the divine mysteries.

In the Scriptures we find facts of the utmost importance that we will never be able to find out unless we dedicate our lives to the Lord. Jesus said no one should cast pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6), which makes it clear that Jesus will not do such a thing either. But if we are obedient sheep, we will not be deprived of the holy teachings that will make us better servants.

David knew that God had done much more for him besides having taken him from the grazing lands and making him king over Israel. He realized that each day the Lord piled up blessings on him. Communion with the Almighty is of paramount importance because without it we cannot understand what He has to tell us. The truth is that those who live far from the Almighty cannot be helped in times of trouble.

Start doing God’s will now because your life will improve a lot, and when it seems that there is nothing else for you the Lord will come with new revelations. The Bible is full of details that you do not understand even remotely. So be sure to receive and live all that was revealed to you through the Word. Wasting the divine revelations is wasting life.

Those who really are servants of God will never regret the decision of accepting Jesus as their Lord. He invited all those who hunger and thirst for justice to come unto Him and delight in abundance (Isaiah 55.1-3). The Lord wants to do and will certainly do the best for those who entrusted their lives to him. But those who do not give proper attention to His Word will not be able to win battles against the wiles of the enemy.

In Christ with love,
