Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100.3

By the Holy Spirit, the psalmist was used to give us a message of great importance, which will help us greatly: Know that the LORD, He is God. The Most High was not made by someone, but exists by Himself, being the Creator of all things, including our life. Everything we are came out of His drawing board. He designed every part of our inner self, gave shape to every cell, as well as the way they operate, so that we can be complete and good in Him!

People who don’t know the Lord ignore what they are missing. Being made in His image and likeness, one day in Heaven, we will know Him the way He knows us (1 Corinthians 13.12). The saved must watch, striving to overcome challenges and not give in to temptation. By acting in this way, they will be able to stand before God in holiness and love, and thus participate in His glory (1 Thessalonians 3.13). We will be everything He designed from the beginning of creation!

Every human being had his or her first father in Adam, that’s why we are each other’s brothers and sisters. The sin of the first man separated us from the Most High, leading us to live an underpar life. However, the work done by Jesus at Calvary unites us with the Father again, but not in the way that it would have been if there had not been the betrayal in the garden of Eden. Of one thing we can be sure: the salvation given to us in Christ will last forever, and in Heaven there will be no separation between us and the Creator (John 14.1-3)!

Today we have contact with the Lord by faith. So, everyone should pay attention to what the Word reveals to us: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10.17). As for the blessings received, the Bible says: For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2.8). The same grace – the divine move toward us – heals, delivers, and prospers through faith. Thanks be to God!

The Almighty has a full share in our salvation, because even though we are saved only by grace through faith, and grace was brought by Jesus, everything is His. The plan of salvation was executed in Christ, but God led us to His Son: No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day (John 6.44). The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, when we are led by the Father to the Son, and He saves us.

Every saved person is part of God’s people, having rights in Christ. Therefore, we are operators of divine justice and, as the second letter to the Corinthians says, we are the righteousness of God in Christ: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5.17). What is missing for us to be victorious in our journeys? We need to use our rights in Jesus. To Him be the glory!

We are the sheep of the Lord’s pasture. This guarantees us the best food, the best water and protection. Being the property of the Almighty, who will bring a charge against us? He justifies us and declares that there is no longer any condemnation on our record, which was blotted out on the cross (Romans 8.33; Colossians 2.14). Today, we are innocent of any wrongdoing committed in the time of ignorance (Acts 17.30).
