You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet

Psalm 8:6

Man is a masterpiece of creation. Our Creator made man different from the beasts as He blew His breath of life in Adam’s nostrils; that is why – apart from being eternal – humans are of the same essence of the Lord (Genesis 1:26). Man is endowed with reasoning and skills that no other creation has. Besides, he is constituted of spirit, soul and body. Upon death, one’s soul – in which one’s emotions dwell – joins the spirit and he is a born-again individual, he will live in the Heavens; however, when men rebel against the Word of God they go straight to hell.
Because we were made heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), what is in store for us in the future is exceedingly huge and important. Apart from including eternal happiness, God’s plan also comprises great works for us to carry out because in the same manner our Father and Jesus have worked so far, we will also play a very significant role throughout eternity. The work we will accomplish in eternity is not even slightly similar to what is being done nowadays; it is something that man in his normal state cannot comprehend.
We have dominion over the works of the Most High, both the ones that can be seen – the material world – and those that we cannot see which we know of through the Word of God. However, in order for our dominion to be complete, we need to fully learn the Biblical doctrine. The understanding we receive through the preaching of the word or by heeding what is revealed to us has within itself the necessary power to make us more than winners (Romans 8:37)
We cannot accept the enemy’s lie, according to which we are nothing but simple worms that crawl on the ground, or that we are miserable sinners forgiven by the Grace. Yes, we were sinners; true slaves of the devil and his passions, but now we are different because, once saved, we have become members of the divine family and co-heirs with
Jesus. Therefore, our authority is complete over all the works of God. Salvation – as well as holiness, healing, prosperity, peace, the forgiveness of sins and the other blessings that go along with it – is ours, and that is why we do not need to beg for it.
You will not be glorifying the Lord if you spend your entire life saying that you love Him, that He is great, beautiful and majestic when you do not live according to the divine commandments. Using the authority He granted you is the appropriate way to give Him due glory.
In Christ, with love,
