David didn’t accept an inferior position in life, because he believed in God and knew that he could achieve unimaginable things with divine support. For this reason, the king only accepted being guided in the full Truth. In order for them to take advantage of this privilege, the Bible teaches this lesson to all the children of the Most High because the Lord is no respecter of persons. We are all equal before the Creator, and that in itself makes us special to ask for the best. No saved person should accept being humiliated in any way!
Being guided in the Truth will make you victorious in your battles. The Scriptures give us this teaching when they say: Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14). With this statement, we see that the Lord desires our triumph always, and not occasionally. Take hold of this statement and demand your rights in the Son of God!
David not only asked God to guide him into His Truth, but also to teach him. The king would know nothing if he didn’t learn from the Lord. Without this action, the rights of that servant of God would remain as if they were asleep. Jesus said: Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Matthew 11.29). Anyone who learns from the greatest Teacher of all times can become a good student. Do you believe that? Then act!
The psalmist believed that the Lord was the God of his salvation. The son of Jesse would not lose any battle, because by learning from the Creator, he would succeed. Those who accept Jesus as their Savior must do the same, for it is decreed in the Holy Scriptures: Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God? (John 11.40).
It’s obvious that God wants to see you prosper. Now, if a person is not answered when they cry out for something guaranteed in the Word, then the Lord will no longer be the God of their salvation. How could anyone believe in the Father if He didn’t keep his promises? You need to learn what belongs to you and how to claim your rights in Jesus. He will even teach you how to pray and believe after crying out. Everything is guaranteed in the Bible, so believe it and receive the blessings right now!
After praying with faith and determination, consider the work done. If the symptoms remain a little longer, keep believing in your supplication. Now, if you prayed carelessly, doubting, without giving the Lord a chance to work, ask His forgiveness and never do the work in a careless manner again. In this regard, the Lord declared: Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully! And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood (Jeremiah 48:10). Act in faith, and you’ll get good results!
The eternal God always confirms His Word with signs and wonders. At the beginning of the Church, He co-operated with the disciples and He continues to do the same today: And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs Amen! (Mark 16.20).
In Christ, with love,
