“Now the LORD called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying” (Leviticus 1:1)

God always calls His children and He also helps them by showing the way out when they are facing temptations. Therefore, we must pay heed to the divine statements and give in to the Lord’s counselling voice, which reaches us from the tabernacle of meeting.

Our Heavenly Father always draws our attention to the good things He creates and He warns us of the traps Satan sets up for us. Well, we mustn’t be shy when it comes to taking possession of what belongs to us and we mustn’t behave cowardly by running away from the enemy. Whatever the circumstances, we have to believe that the Most High will operate. Rise in faith! Rebuke the evil that’s trying to harm you now, whatever it might be, and rest in the arms of the Lord.

The assistance the Almighty God offers us when temptations come should never be wasted. As a matter of fact, all of us are tempted now and then – even Jesus was tempted in every way (Hebrews 4:15) – now what really matters is that the Lord’s always there to assist us by showing a way out whenever that happens. So, playing the self-righteous and saying that one has never fallen into any temptation is a sign that such person has already fallen into the temptation of lies and deception.

Blessed and victorious are those who listen to the voice of our God, who would never say something unimportant to His children. Actually, the secret of all those who were victorious through faith is that they kept the statements of the Lord. Abraham, for instance, left his land to set off for a distant country (Genesis 12:1) which, according to the Most High, flowed with milk and honey (Exodus 3:8).

Note that according to the passage at the beginning of this message, the Lord spoke to Moses from the tabernacle of meeting. As for you, my brother, your tabernacle is the work He assigned for you to accomplish; it is your understanding about the divine will. It is from that place He speaks from. So, don’t stray away from what was given to you as a mission. Be faithful to the divine calling then you’ll see that greater things will be shown to you in your heart. Don’t let any trouble discourage you and don’t even fall into the temptation of thinking that our Father hasn’t heard you.

And don’t despise what you’ve been given. The knowledge you have now is too precious and the power you need to overcome any troubles is within the revelation granted to you. Strive to accomplish the task assigned to you by the Lord. Don’t take into account your enemy’s size or the noise he makes. Remember, you’re more than a conqueror in Christ (Romans 8:37) and you can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13).

The secret is to walk according to the Word of God, which is our Light; those who walk under such light – the revelation given by the Heavens – will never fall. Don’t make up your own ways to carry out God’s plan; rather be a fulfiller of what is asked from you in the Holy Scriptures for God speaks to those who belong to Him through Them.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
