The reason that the Biblical books have been preserved is not only so that we know the history of God’s children, but also so that we understand the work done on our behalf. To be delivered from evils, we simply need to perform the same works as Jesus. He rebuked the fever of Peter’s mother-in-law (Mark 1.29-31), setting an example for us, but we ignore the lesson and cry out for our healing.
God’s operation on behalf of anyone in the past, especially Israel – the chosen people, who today represent the saved – occurred in order for us to overcome the devil in his vain attempts to trap us. Isaiah’s warnings to Judah and its people apply to anyone who wants to be free from the kingdom of darkness. No one can live free if his mind is possessed by sin.
When we read the Word or listen to the preaching of the Bible, we should give it our utmost attention. Many times, we have the feeling that we already knew what is in the Bible. This is because God imprinted His Word in our hearts when we were redeemed. Therefore, we are no longer innocent from the moment we accept Jesus as Savior. A person can only win if he uses the Name of Christ (Mark 16:17,18).
Almost two thousand years ago, the Scriptures finished being recorded, but it seems like that ended this year, or yesterday. After all, they deal with our problems and give us the authority to win the battles for our deliverance. If you do not quote the Bible during your rebuke to the enemy, the enemy will certainly not retreat, because the mere human word is weak and does not drive out the spirit of infirmity. Believe and pray!
The Holy Book is at your disposal today as it was in the past. He who believes in the Bible wins the battles; otherwise, there is no point in sending the devil away. Such a person will not see the glory of God acting on his behalf. Whoever becomes wise in the teachings of the Lord will never be deceived by the devil. Christians can overcome struggles, because they have been saved to do so. The power is yours (John 15.7)!
From the day that Isaiah recorded the biblical revelation by divine command, God has not changed His method of acting. Without the Word, there is no operation of His power, but after everything is explained, anyone who feels the direction of the Most High will be able to appropriate everything that belongs to him, ordaining his blessing. What the heavenly Father says to someone applies to everyone. Your problem will end when you believe and use the Name of Jesus in prayer.
Why not bow down before the Lord and give Him command of your life? That way, you will be victorious in every battle you fight. Don’t put off your decision until tomorrow. The devil will not wait for you to get stronger in order to defeat you, because he doesn’t want to take any risks. The evil one will do it now!
In Christ, with love,

Lord of our happiness! Isaiah wrote, and we believe. From now on, no evil work will resist the command we give in the mighty and triumphant Name of Jesus. We have the right to cry out, claim, and take possession of everything!
After writing on the tablet, the prophet pointed it out in a book that we know as the Holy Bible. He wrote it over 2,500 years ago, and it is there for today and for the future. We thank You for Your goodness and Your love.
We will not turn back, but will go to the very end, for we want to see Your glory and honor being praised by all. We know that Christ will return to take us to You to live forever. Accept our gratitude!
