09/10/2021 - GOD’S DESIRE FOR THE SAVED

For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4.12

God’s plan for man is greater than he can imagine. Since the Lord is the only true God, we can believe that through Jesus´s sacrifice, He will accomplish what He has planned for us (Ephesians 3.20). In fact, all the plans about us have already been made. Only in Heaven we will have knowledge of them, because we don’t yet have the structure to receive the totality of the divine greatness.

The fact that the Savior wants our perfecting reveals that we are not complete, so we must observe the Word. What we lack will be granted to us, if we are diligent in His work. Nothing can separate us from the Father’s love: Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8.39).

The Most High values the ministry that He Himself has placed in the Church, sending us to give His people the conditions to be improved. Every member of the ministerial body must use the gifts that have been given to them, so that the Master’s harvest takes its place before God and men. The lost need to see in the saved what people saw in Jesus and His apostles.

Each day we must think about the mission that Christ has given us, doing our best in consecration, in preaching the Gospel, and in distributing the blessings He has conquered in our behalf. In this way, the church will be the place where the lost will be saved, the troubled delivered, and the sick healed. It must be called House of Prayer for all peoples (Isaiah 56.7).

The saved should know that Christ’s Church belongs to no one nor is it a place for personal promotion or illicit enrichment. It is the agency of the Kingdom:  And I also say to you that you are Peter and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16.18). God builds His Church with the ministry gifts that He Himself has placed in it.

The redeemed need to be perfected. In that way, they will serve Jesus as it pleases Him. Men pass away, but the Church will continue until the Savior comes to seek those who love and obey Him. The edification that the Lord does is by the action of the Holy Spirit in our midst, leading us to understand the Truth. With the Bride built up at the feet of the Master, millions of people will realize that religion doesn’t save, but Jesus does.

The Lord longs for your perfecting, so that the evangelization of the world can take place. Poor are those who make themselves responsible for the condemnation of anyone. See what Jesus declared to the disciples: “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! (Luke 17.1) To stay alert and pray are good attitudes for the sanctified ones!
