Jesus profiles Himself, speaking of the shepherd who brings out his own sheep. It’s not good to stay inside the sheepfold forever. There is a life of blessings of all kinds, but also very violent temptations, in which, without the good Shepherd, you will fall and destroy yourself. The important thing is to keep faith in the Lord because only He has the power to guard your life while leading you to your destined place! What a wonderful God!
Christ not only points the way for us, but He also goes ahead of us. Therefore, no matter the threats of the enemy; the Man of War has the ability to destroy every hellish force that opposes us. God will do what is necessary to protect us. The Lord says, But not a hair of your head shall be lost (Luke 21.18). Therefore, confidently follow Him who is faithful!
With the Almighty at our side, we become like children, who do not see the dangers, the lack of supplies or protection, because they trust that their father is the greatest in the world. If we have faith in God, we will also do what He commands, without worrying about the enemy. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever (Psalm 125.1). He is the Greatest!
Abraham’s example, leaving his father’s house and going to a land that he didn’t even know its name, shows how we must act. He knew that God would take him there, so he feared nothing (Hebrew 11.8,9). We need to do the same wholeheartedly. The patriarch served God in his days, and we should serve Him today. This is the time to show the Creator that there are those who trust Him completely. What do you say?
The Word will never fail; therefore, we can have the conviction that God will go before His sheep, and they will follow Him. There is nothing to fear! The Father will lead us to the place He has pointed for us. Our opportunity to get it right is greater than we might think. Therefore, we need to follow Him very closely. Don’t let anything take you off the path to happiness. By walking next to the Almighty, you will never be defeated!
We don’t follow the Master blindly, because we have been given the ability to know His voice, which is heard upon many waters – the revelations of the Word given to those who examine the Scriptures. See the importance we must give to the Bible, for the Lord speaks through it. Failing to read it with the desire to learn and to please the Almighty is a mistake that many make and causes them to stumble.
Don’t exchange for anything the time to read the Scriptures and meditate on them. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10.17). Whoever doesn’t find time to examine the Holy Book lives a faulty faith, because he doesn’t know where to go or what to do. Obey to what you are told, and you will see God on your side!
In Christ, with love,

Father! To despise what You reveal to us is not good. Every word of Yours encourages us to keep going. Although the unknown terrifies us in times of crisis, we can always rest easy!
Your strong arm will guard us as we follow You. Give us the grace to do everything with Your guidance. We long to know You more, so that we don't look away from You!
You said that we know Your voice, and that is true. When You reveal something in the Scriptures, we rejoice, we feel secure, and faith comes to our heart. Thank You for giving us this virtue; thus, we will never leave You!
