The Master was always guided by the Father, going everywhere and doing His work. On one occasion, in order to cry out for his daughter who was almost dead, the prince of the synagogue, led by God, went to Jesus. Now, Christ had declared: No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6.44). Never fail to answer those who seek you. Certainly, this person has come to you for help. So, speak what the Word reveals to you and send him or her away with the complete blessing.
It is up to every Christian to live at the Master’s feet, because we don’t know when He will send us someone to bless. When this doesn’t happen, we show that we are far from the position that we should occupy in the spiritual world. Whoever lives before the Most High will never be ashamed, but whoever despises Him will not have the chance to help the suffering. God cannot help those who do not want help and offend Him with false statements.
The Jews did not like Jesus, even though many sought Him and were answered. Those who went to the Son of God broke many barriers and only did so because they understood that no one else could reach out to them. This must have happened to Jairus, as he noticed his daughter’s health worsening by the moment. Seeing no other way, he drew near the Master and was welcomed. When the man told him of his problem, he heard from Jesus that He would go to the child and heal her. He was amazed at Christ!
In such a situation, the feeling of the one who did not accept the Messiah must have been a mixture of hope and incredulity. No doubt that father was in a hurry, because the case was serious. Perhaps he still doubted that healing could happen. Christ knew how to act, so there would be no need to hurry or delay His going. Guided by the Father, Jesus would heal her. It is likely that Jairus had already imagined how the miracle would take place, but the Savior knew God’s plans for the situation.
Jairus’ heart couldn’t wait that long: he wanted to see his daughter free from the evil that was killing her. Perhaps, he had pictured in his mind the image of the Lord laying his hand of power on the girl, and she getting up. We must learn to have full faith in God and let Him act as needed; after all, this is Someone who has power over death. He would not let the prince of the synagogue down.
When we talk to God, we don’t have to worry about how the work will be accomplished, but that He will accomplish it. Jairus was brought to Jesus by the Father, and God had already given Him the power to bring the young girl back to life. If Christ goes before us, things will come out as He promised. Believe the Savior’s words, and you will see the operation of divine glory (John 11.40). There will be no failure!
On the way to the home of the afflicted father, an incident took away from the Master some more time, but what was necessary to bring the girl back to life would be done. A bleeding woman touched Jesus and was healed. At this, the Savior stopped and asked who had touched Him, and she came forward. Soon after this healing, a man from Jairus’ house spoke of the child’s death. To human eyes, was there any way? No! Then Jesus said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; only believe” (Luke 8.50b). He brought her back to life!
In Christ, with love,

Oh God! Many times, we despair when some things happen and we don't realize that You are Lord over everything. When You operate, even if the miracle is impossible to human eyes, like someone coming back to life, it happens. You are never late.
Jairus had to see Your glory revealed, when there was no hope left. You have the power to give life, and You will do it according to Your purposes. Look at those who are desolate for their deceased relatives, though every man must go through this.
Let us grow in Biblical understanding! Then we will do the work as Your Son did, and all will know that faith in Christ is real and works in any situation. Nothing that man needs will be denied him, as long as he lives before You with all his heart.
