Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.

Isaiah 55: 2

Many people spend fortunes on so many things as they try to achieve peace, health, prosperity and marital happiness. The children of God, those who really put into practice The Word, have a duty to get what they need by faith. From their life style they must set the difference between those who practice faith and those who don´t. Their authority must be seen through their behaviour.

Looking for happiness is something huge. Some people spend too much money on religious products such as, for instance, those used in black magic. That kind of faith drives those who give themselves to it straight deep down the spiritual world of evil. People who give themselves to that kind of practice are always falling considering that “deep calls unto deep” (Psalm 42: 7 a). The bad news is that they spend loads of money to be delivered from their hindrances; yet, they get nowhere. In fact, the devil is evil even to those who consecrate their lives to him.

Some people hardly attend The House of God and their excuse – apart from the very expensive bus ticket fee – goes like this: “Well, you know I love giving offerings to God but I cannot afford it!” Thus they feel embarrassed and only attend the services when their financial situation gets better. Yet, God is not pleased by those who allow any barrier to prevent them from being in His House.

A good Christian, the one who looks forward to learning more ought to invest their wages in meeting their daily expenses and particularly in their spiritual knowledge training. That servant of The Lord purchases good books on faith, inspirational music CDs and they even get to enrol in courses which leads them to “dominating-the-secret-of-winners techniques.” On the other hand, spending money, the wages of your living, on things that are absolutely not backed by God is sheer vanity.

The secret of success is listening to our Father attentively and willingly to grasp the message, once you have learnt your lesson, you are to put into practice what God Himself has taught you. Those who do not fulfil what they have received from The Word will never be able to be delivered from hellish assaults. After all, The Most High gives you the power to break down all of Satan’s treachery.

All children of God need to eat and taste good food. What do you consider good food for you to eat? It is undoubtedly the flesh of Jesus, The Word of God. Those who feed on Him have the life of The Lord which makes them strong and fully equipped for all good work.

Our Father wants your soul to be filled up with the energy of The Holy Spirit, so always be joyful and willing! The Lord did not plan and He does not accept any of His children to be caught up in the hands of the enemy. He forgives those who have fallen and He raises those who are prostrated and He also makes strong those who feel weak and unqualified (Isaiah 40: 29). God wants to use you!
