Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD, and teach out of Your Law

Psalm 94:12

The Lord gives revelations to His people; part of them is made up of promises and the other of reprimands. The divine admonishments must never be despised because each one of them is for our own good. Well, it is very easy for the saved ones to depart from The Way: all the enemy needs is to see children of God spiritually discouraged and then he attacks them with his temptations. So, if our God did not reprimand us, we could easily leave the Truth and do the will of the tempter; the problem is that by doing so we will be heading towards eternal doom.
As it was pointed out before, the Almighty admonishes us for our own sake. That shows us that we are His children, not illegitimate children, because He acts as a loving father who corrects a son who committed some mistake. Therefore, my brethren, whenever you are admonished by the Most High you must never go against His wisdom; after all, the divine reprehensions must be accepted as wonderful presents. When an individual is reprimanded, his flesh, which refuses to bow down before the Spirit of God, may get enraged but later on he will realize that, in fact, the correction became a blessing for him.
Every time the Lord grants us some teachings He does so in our best interest. When a promise is revealed to us by the Most High we are thrilled and we praise Him for that, but the truth is that we should also rejoice and praise Him for His reprimands because if we take them seriously, we will be free from a lot of misfortunes. However, those who resist the teachings of the Almighty One will see later on that such attitude was not good at all, but unfortunate.
There is not – and there shall never be – not even one sole statement of the Word of God that might have been given to us without a good purpose. Therefore, all those who are instructed within the Law of the Lord will, by all means, be successful because it is perfect and revives our
souls (Psalm 19:7) by shedding on us the necessary light for us to walk in peace.
During our stay here on Earth we prepare ourselves to live in the Heavens forever, but nobody will go there by chance. In fact, the access into the Kingdom of God is restricted to those who convert and do not live in sin. So, we must be very careful because the enemy has made many saved people think that some of their errors will not bar their access into Paradise. However, the truth is that if they keep on behaving that way, despising the admonishments of the Word, they will be surprised at what awaits them in eternity: they will be excluded from the eternal happiness of inheriting the Kingdom of God.
In Christ, with love,
