For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

Isaiah 54:10

The operations that the Lord has prepared for His children will be wondrous and will put to shame the most powerful religion doctrines. No teaching outside the Word of God will be able to withstand the severity of the Almighty’s judgment. They may have been created with good intentions, but the simple fact that they have not been originated in the Lord will cause them to crumble before the Truth of Christ’s Court.

Good men, from different parts of the world, create concepts. Some of these tenets have the appearance of being good, and some of them might even be helpful when it comes to secular matters. However, before the greatness of our God, who will come to judge all things, such principles will tremble. Nothing created by man will stand on the day of the revelation of all things.

But one thing is certain: God’s mercy shall not leave us. This is the guarantee that we will go through Judgment with our heads held high. The fact that we have accepted Jesus as Savior has redeemed us from sin. Moreover, the new birth is the guarantee that the Lord’s kindness will be with us in every moment of our lives and will stay with us until we enter into the eternal kingdom.

The good thing is that the salvation achieved in Jesus with all its promises and blessings will never be changed. The Almighty shall fulfill what He has promised to those who obey Him and honor His decrees. The decisions of the Lord are not only good for us while we are here, but will remain so in the Day of Reckoning.

No believer needs to fear the great day, for everything that God declares will be fulfilled; after all, He honors what His lips uttered. The heavenly Father said that those who keep His Word will never see death (John 8:51). So rejoice and be calm, trusting in what the Lord promised. All the good words uttered by our Redeemer will most certainly be fulfilled.

If there wasn’t another statement in the Bible which assured us of the immutability of the Lord, this one would be enough to keep us from any attempt of the enemy to oppress us. However, we are sure that Jesus is faithful to honor and fulfill what He has promised; if all else fails, His Word will never fail. Therefore, I have no doubt that what He said will be accomplished.

Be steadfast in claiming what belongs to you in Christ, for He does not need to wait for the great Day to carry out what He promised to do in you and through you.
