30/06/2021 - HAVE NO FEAR OF THE ENEMY

You shall not be afraid of them, but you shall remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt Deuteronomy 7.18

Before getting into the message, let’s remember that the peoples who inhabited the Promised Land, before Israel arrived and took possession of the place, were quite filthy in their abominations (Deuteronomy 18:9-14). The Most High dealt with them for centuries, for they were going down a path of no return. They didn´t fear the Lord, but demons; therefore, they committed all kinds of sexual transgression. Furthermore, to obtain good crops, they offered their little children to the gods.

Israel’s entrance was similar to a judgment that the Lord will impose at the end of times to those who continue in sin, refusing to repent of their wickedness. However, those who convert will be accepted as children of God and will be able to go to Heaven alongside Jesus. How can anyone stop doing good, when wickedness comes from the devil and brings great penalty to those who practice it? Be and live like a wise man! Be vigilant!

This verse is full of good secrets for those obedient to the Lord. Through it, God calls everyone to repent from their evil deeds and return to Him. However, if they continue to give way to the devil, many will move further and further away from the Most High and will be lost forever. They should persevere in doing good; thus, they could enter the eternal Kingdom of happiness in Christ the Savior. Pray!

Many Christians are completely mistaken in their way of life. For this reason, they will be prevented from entering Heaven and will go to the lake of eternal fire. Now, who told them that they can indulge in the same sexual deviations practiced by the lost? (Ephesians 4:17-24). Surely, it was Satan, who knows that without holiness nobody will stand before God (Hebrews 12.14). What is this nonsense that says that anything counts within four walls?

We must remember the wonders that the Lord did in the land of Egypt, when He showed that their gods were nothing but lying demons. There are many “enlightened” people in the Gospel who have been convinced, or have let themselves be convinced, that the Most High doesn’t care about their actions, but rather about what they believe. Now, what a person does reveals in whom they believe, and by their works, they show whether or not there is fear of God in their heart (James 2.19).

We can’t fear the “gods” of these “enlightened ones”. They are corrupting the Lord´s work, established in the shedding of Christ’s blood, so that it might be served in holiness: To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life. (Luke 1:74-75) See how you are living and go back to the first love (Revelation 2:4-5).

Judgment will begin with the house of God, that it may be cleansed from those who scandalize the work: For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17). Remember what was done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians!
