For He spoke and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalm 33:9

Nothing happens without the Lord opening His mouth and speaking about it. As a matter of fact, without the decision of the one and only God – whose power reigns supreme everywhere – nothing could have been created. Furthermore, no promise ever made by the Almighty will ever fail to be fulfilled for He watches over His Word and fulfills it.
The salvation we are a part of, for instance, is a divine plan that was very well prepared and executed and we can rest assured that the Creator did not do it by accident. He had in mind something so great for us that even the most enlightened people will never be able to fully grasp it.
Our election was held in Christ by the will of the Father, so no power can separate us from that love which has been dispensed to us (Romans 8:39). One day, most assuredly, we will know our Father just as we are known by Him, then we will see the greatness of this plan of salvation called the Gospel, which is different from any religion because it is the very voice of God speaking to man. By the way, the most important thing that every Christian has to do is seek that voice, without which our spirit becomes disoriented and unable to depart from sin.
Every Word the Father utters has in itself the power to do what He announces. Therefore, once you have received it, believe and fearlessly take possession of what has been declared. The verse above says that the Lord spoke and it was done, which shows us that the work takes place in the spiritual world first. However, if the Lord does not speak, do not try to make it come to be because it will not be accomplished inasmuch as without the Word all human efforts are useless. However well-intentioned a person is, nothing will come to light without being spoken and commanded by our God.
After the Lord spoke and it was done, He commanded and they stood fast. We do not know how long this process took place, but the biblical statement suggests that it was automatically. I do not know how long it takes for the Lord’s command to happen in our lives; what really matters is that everything that relates to living in fear of God has already been prepared and delivered to us.
The will of the Almighty will be done without us having to kill one another in order achieve His favor. We just need to believe and receive what has already been given to us in Christ. So, do not worry about anything because you are part of God\’s dream. Be a doer of the Word and in doing so you will have the Lord operating in your life. Regardless of what you have done or been, the important thing is that none of the divine decrees will be left unaccomplished.
