The greatest work done by the Lord in the heart of the sinner is conversion. However, in many cases, the Christian prevents God from working in the lives of others. If someone has reached out their hand to do him harm, he neither forgives nor prays that his offender will repent. Discarding those who have sold themselves to sin is all that the devil desires. Now, we are the only ones capable of forgiving, and if we don’t do this, we will be used by Satan (Romans 12.14,17-21). Mercy!
Elijah’s anointing will turn the hearts of the parents to the children, and vice versa. However, the words of the Most High are rejected most of the time by those who have been forgiven a much greater debt. So, we act just like the man in the parable told by the Master: But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe! (Matthew 18.28). Do we really love Jesus?
Why are there divorces in the Body of Christ? Because we have forgotten that there is balm in Gilead (Jeremiah 8.22). The shame of our actions does not let us see that we have been far worse than those considered irrecoverable. Now, we are the born again; therefore, we should know divine mercy and forgiveness in order to act like saints. Recognizing that we need to do the same as the Lord has done to us, our transgressions will be forgiven. Have we been saved because of our holiness?
The Lord declares that we must change our way of living to be Christlike (Ephesians 4:1-3). Such conduct prevents Him from coming and hurting the earth. However, it seems that this has not been happening lately. Many have experienced the Lord’s mercy, have been thankful for it, but have not acted as He instructed. The result: the lack of love has done them a lot of harm: And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him (Matthew 18.34).
According to the apostle James, we fail to receive that for which we cry out, because we do not understand how to petition: You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask (James 4.2). If our prayers are not answered, something prevents the Lord from giving us the desired answer. We cannot think only of ourselves, but first of all of His Kingdom! (Matthew 6.33).
Such is the disrespect to the one who was used to lead the lost to the Kingdom of Heaven. Many, without realizing that the Gospel converts the hearts of parents to their children, act as if this were a lie. In the Bible, we find instructions regarding the procedure of those who are driven by covetousness. James says that the envious and covetous will never attain divine favor. Having friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God (James 4.4).
The land where you have been placed is good and full of resources to be used now and in the future (Deuteronomy 8.7-9). Because of the actions of some, God has to injure the piece of land that was theirs by inheritance. The reason so much bad stuff happens is because people don’t obey God’s will. Walk with the Lord again!

Father of true conversion! We make the decision to surrender ourselves to You, but we don't notice that the heart in Your hands indicates - that many times, we have to hurt even our family for Your sake. We don’t feel that our attitudes disobey what You say!
We often love the world and fear the threats of the enemy. Abraham offered his best without fear; therefore, he passed the test. We know Your purpose, but we don't want to lose the love of our family, and so we err!
Led by You, we will face and overcome today's trial, and it will bring Your approval. Those who resist temptation will find that Your immense love has strengthened them in the face of the threat and fulfilled that which was promised!
