And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, And made Me a polished shaft; In His quiver He has hidden Me. Isaiah 49.2

As children of God, we become ministers of the Word: we take the Good News of the work done by Jesus, whose objective was to put an end to the separation between man and God (2 Corinthians 3.6). To do this, He commanded us to go out into the world, preaching to every creature the end devil’s slavery over us and the beginning of an age of wonders and blessings (Mark 16.15). As we went forward, we delivered a multitude of people who did not know how they could get rid of the forces of darkness.

Our mission is not physical warfare against people, but spiritual battle against the hellish forces that oppress people (Ephesians 6.12). Just as Jesus delivered those possessed by evil spirits, we must deliver the suffering today. Christ commanded the legions of demons to come out of people, and they obeyed Him, because the Master’s mouth was a sharp sword. Ours is too, so we must never fear the rantings of the devil, who says that he will not come out of whom he has possessed. Our order is real!

To be completely successful in this endeavor, God made the mouth of each one of His children also like a sharp sword, just like Jesus’ (Revelation 1.16). Therefore, whenever you have to cast out demons, command them to come out in the Name of Jesus. Now, we are called to do the same deeds of the Savior, as He said when He was here. Act as Christ did in His Father’s Name. Then you will not be punished in the Judgment.

Examine the following statement by Jesus and fulfill it; otherwise, you may be held accountable for being negligent, failing in your obligations: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father (John 14.12). Christ came as a servant and fulfilled the mission entrusted to Him. Then He returned to the Father and took hold of all power in Heaven and on Earth (Matthew 28.18-20). Obey and thank the Lord!

The Savior’s hand is over us, for us to perform the same works. There isn’t and there will not be a time when we will fail. You have to spend time meditating on the Bible. In this way, there will be no failure in our obligation to act in the Name of Jesus and perform the divine task as we have been told. Being under the Lord’s protection, we will work on behalf of those who are being destroyed by Satan. Trust in God’s Word and do your part!

What a prophetic statement given by Isaiah! This was 700 years before the Son of God came into the world. The Savior came to save us and to make each of the saved a polished shaft. This is the full truth about your life, even if you have been in the past, before you accepted salvation in Christ, a person given over to sin. Understand that Christ’s death was meant to make you a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), a clean arrow hidden in God’s quiver. Give glory to God!

How long will you let the devil fill you with negative thoughts about yourself? Well, those who are in Christ are new creation, prepared for good works. Read and believe this: And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6.11).
