Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be Born when He is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be Born? John 3.4

We can’t think that Nicodemus’ surprise with Jesus’ revelation is funny, because even we have a hard time understanding certain things from the scriptures’ revelation when we are confronted with it. If the Lord doesn’t teach us what is written, we will miss lots of blessings. We were created in Christ to walk on the good works that He already prepared for us. But what does it mean? How will it be? When it takes place, we will be very surprised.

I don’t understand how the Lord does it, for example, an abdomen swell down during a preaching, I watched it happen at the church in Sao Paulo, while I was preaching. On that occasion, during the preaching, I felt like I should say that the God from the Bible is not a criminal. Then a man with a huge belly that he, himself said the belly could almost touch his knees (in order to be able to walk, he needed to wear suspenders), he felt an incredible joy with that word and his belly went back to normal.

Another case was Sandra’s, that had an accident and a large part of her body was burned. Her right hand became 18cm smaller than the left one. It was Friday, 2 PM service. When I finished the prayer, I asked: “Who was healed over on the gallery?” She was jumping of joy. Then I asked her to come down and tell us what had happened to her. So touched, she said: “It is amazing, because it is the first time that I come here and I received a miracle like this.”

When I was 11 years old – my dad was a constructor, very poor – I watched TV for the first time. I liked what I saw on the screen and, then, I turned my back to the TV and I looked to the people that looked hypnotized. I already had Christ in my life, and so I said: “Lord this thing is really good. Nobody is talking about you there. I will make you a promise: If you give me the means, some day I will be there talking about you.”

Maybe when you hear something from God that marks you, you may ask: “How can it be? Well, spiritual things are revealed spiritually by the wisdom and heavenly power. I know that our heavenly Father is calling many people to represent Him on the coming years. Whoever is called, don’t let the enemy confuse you, by putting a thought in your head that you are not able to fulfill The Lord’s commands; because when the Lord calls somebody to do His work, HE HIMSELF WILL DO IT. You just need to believe.

Who was Eliajah to challenge Acabe? Who was David to fight the lion and the bear, and afterwards fight the giant? God has taken water from the rock, He extinguished the fire’s violence, He closed the lion’s mouth and He is ready to work in everybody who believes in what He says.
