The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me — A prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8

God cares for all His children and in His heart there is only love; that is why He compels men to mend their ways through the understanding of His Word, which is sent to us with all the capacity to fulfill what it announces. To those who believe, the Almighty commands His loving-kindness and in the night He sends His song to be with them. The Lord’s Song is the prayer of our life, the most important thing we can do.

The Lord’s care for all His children is tremendous. If we seek Him, we will see that He will guide us even in the smallest details. However, those who do not use the divine guidance lose much since without His assistance they cannot make the right decisions. So never despise what God can do in your life. With Him in charge, you will always be successful in every way, but without Him there will be only stumbling.

The Almighty is love. His guidance never lacks the attributes that are so distinctive of Him, and because He is our Father He always gives us the best. His appreciation for all human beings caused Him to send Jesus to suffer in our place all the punishment that brought us peace (Isaiah 53:5). Now, we do not have to suffer anymore; we can simply enjoy His precious loving-kindness. That is why the Lord wants us to mend our ways through His Word.

The message that the Almighty sends us is more than a simple message, it comes with the power to accomplish what we are told to do. For those who give heed to Him, His mercy fulfills what He has promised in the Scriptures. Thus, there will always be forgiveness for our sins, healing for our diseases and success in all our endeavors. The secret is to trust what God says and His gracious actions will be complete.

Jesus said that there are twelve hours in the day (John 11:9). There is a time for us to walk by faith, and another time for us to rest. This happens spiritually as well. However, even when the light is out so that we can rest, we are not left unassisted because the Father embraces us with His song and then our sleep is much sounder. He always wants to give times of refreshing to those who labor and are heavy laden.

His song is the best prayer to be said. It is the moment when we clean all dirt clinging to our spirit and get inspired to make new decisions because it fills us with power. Undoubtedly, it is the prayer of our lives.
